Someone has to ring him, in the HUN on Friday, he tipped the Tigers by 99 points...........to top it off Michael Warner tipped the Tigers by 101 points.

I'm seriously considering doing that. He not only picked them to win by that amount but also said they will be resting Cotchin, Riewoldt, Deledio, Martin and maybe another 1 or 2 against us. They will still win so just rest these guys for the finals.
I hope we can sneak in and play them in the elimination final.

Yesterday was a good win, but let's not get too carried away. They had a much younger side in than we did. So we should have won, but normally we should have been expecting to win that game by 6 goals plus.

If we play to the level we should expect, we'll beat Essendon** by 10 goals then Port by 3.

And the betting markets reflected, that didn't it?
What were Carlton, $4 at one stage
The markets are framed in such a way that the favorite side pays more

John Ralph, another Richmond flog, tipped them by 82pts. They never get ahead of themselves do they.

Well done to the team. Terrific result.

I bagged them last week and am more than happy to give them credit where it's due. Unfortunately I only got to see the final 15 or so minutes - but from what I've heard and read they responded well after qtr time.

Hopefully they don't become complacent and repeat that performance for the final 2 weeks.

Think Gibbs should play in the guts for the remaining games, just needs to get a new haircut

Loved the presence that Waite gave to the back line, I would keep him there. Seems so obvious now that its happened.

Levi should stay in. He is raw, but lets compare him with Josh Kennedy from a few years ago, same thing very raw, lots of talent, was probably going to be a gun forward and now is (despite the Fred Flintstone run-up   ). Levi will get there and adds a ruck dimension as well.

Knockers is seriously shite for mine, just doesn't provide taps to advantage. I would prefer Hammer quite frankly when fit and if Kreuze is not right. In fact I almost think there is room for Kreuze/Hammer and Levi in the same team, even if Lachie is forward.

Yarran back to half back. Play Manzel and Graham.

Now, that doesn't look a bad side

Our team need to learn to harness the energy that comes from peak arousal and not approach each game as a "business as usual, off to work" mindset.

What do you think?

They gave away three downfield frees for tackling/bumping after the ball had gone. That was them trying to be tough.

I just hope the team recognises that this needs to be the way to play every week.
Not just when it suits them or when they have a point to prove.
They can play at a bloody good standard just don't do it often enough.

One of the rare times I wish I'd caught KB's show this morning.

I just hope we can sneak into 8th, play them in the elimo final and smack their arses.

I'd party like it was 1999.

Never ceases to amaze me how KB reels them in with his schtick. It's the oldest ruse in broadcasting and it gets them every time.

Wall paper, schmallpaper.

I couldnt give a rats arse about negative implications. The reality is we won and deserved the win.
IMO, the differences were obvious. We dropped a tag in the midfield which allowed us to work harder offensively when we had possession. It also gave us more flexibility with our midfield rotations and allowed us to be less reactive.
Most importantly, our scoring efficiency was better than theres. Quite often that is the difference.

Credit to Mick for adapting. Let's hope he learns his lesson and continues to play to our strengths and give opportunities to the kids.

For those who have been telling us for the past couple of weeks how poor Jamison is and how McLeans disposals dont hurt the opposition, watch the replay and get a clue.
Yes Jamo has his deficiencies but he's far and away the best tall defender we have on the last line.
Go Blues.

Lou Richards made it an art form for years on the back page of Friday & Saturday mornings "The Sun".

Kevin Bartlett hasn't exactly invented the wheel here.

But there would be some degree of satisfaction telling him to stick it up his clacker.

They certainly have more than their fair share of flowers in the team. Hreivwoldt is a juvenile, and I'm not sure they can ever win a flag with him in the team. Lots of ability, no brains.

Have always said he is Fev Mk2.

Thankfully, for Jack, at this stage that is only manifesting itself on field. So long as he stays off the turps he has hope. But he'll always be a massive sook.

That's always puzzled me too, comments about Jamo. He might be crap, I don't think he is, but if he is, he's less crap than pretty much anyone else on our list we can use to hold down a defensive KPP role.
