Was great to see the endeavour against the Tigers.

HOWEVER, we'd do SO much better if we could just make sure of the kicks/handballs to teammates in good position.
1) FFS, kick it to advantage - don't make them wait for the ball while their opponent catches up
2) Handball to the chest/in front, not the ankles/behind

The number of times we ALMOST squeeze it out but the extra half-second fumble/wait ruins it infuriates me!

This game matters...

it matters for Carrazzo and Murphy getting beaten to a pulp last year
It matters for Ratts never recovering from that game
It matters for Lloyd's backheel goal, Fletcher's trip on Garlett, Michael Long's touched goal, Darren Bewick, Gary Moorcroft, Alan Ezard, Jake Melksham, Dean Wallis' hit on Mil Hanna, Scott Camporeale, Sheedy's dirty tactics, those late Neal Daniher goals, Sean Denham's attacks on Diesel Williams, 1993, 1993, and 1993.

This game matters because it is hopefully the last time we play them before they become a hollowed out shell of a club. When the record books are written we need to be able to say we won this one for so many of the injustices they've dealt us over the years.

I know as a Carlton supporter I must hate Collingwood, and I do. But if there's one team we MUST beat its the drug cheating scumbags Essendon*. I hate them with an everlasting hate. Even if we don't make finals this year, whatever happens, all I want is Carlton to beat this pack of cheating pr!cks. After that I don't care much, besides watching the AFL rip Essendon* a new one. If I get my wish we'll beat them, Hird will be gone, the club will be stripped of its points, fined to near extinction. Then a 10 year exodus from finals and at least half a dozen wooden spoons.

Just so they REALLY get the point ;)

Boys will take alot of pleasure kicking the living crap out of this lot.

Freo should smack Port in Perth so it'll set up an early Elimination "final" in round 23. If we win that we're 8th, if we lose we'll 8th still after Essendon* lose all their points...hehehe.

You know Verbs,

at one point over the last twelve months Fox Footy replayed the 1986 Grand Final. I watched it and coped. But whenever they replay 1993... well I'd rather chew off my own arm and let rampaging hyenas devour me from the remaining socket than watch that game ever again.

An interesting stat that I've noticed this year is that of our 10 losses, 8 have been night matches and you could argue that doggies game was late afternoon/ night match. The only real day game loss has been to the pies in round 2.

Let's hope this trend does not continue with Essendon** this week. Why would this be a factor or is it just coincidence? Clearly we have played the better sides in the blockbuster time slot Friday night, but could it be to our lack of poise skill in the more greasy conditions?

Can you go into the rooms on Saturday and scream these words at the players Barrass-style?

it's not dropping him.
it's gently placing him in the 2's for development.
