Ive so missed The Bulldozer Bell. Need that added Grunt around the ball. He was in great form last year as he was getting games and his confidence grew, this year hasnt had a look in? I dont know why?

Bell has been winning heaps of hard ball in the vfl and breaking tackles. BUT his use of the ball by hand and foot is too often poor - he's similar to Robbo but suspect he might be a bit smarter and can improve this.

Agree. He doesn't run both ways either. Crash and bash takes it out of him IMO

Bell? Busted his arse running both ways last week and the weeks since returning after breaking his jaw.

Would love to see one of those games from him tomorrow. Grigg will soil himself if Bell brings about the same aggression.

Richmond are going to use the whole fist on us. It will be embarrassing.

Stand and cough, boys ... stand and cough.

so interesting watching the reactions of dermie, shaw, and moons when parko suggested we'll probably trade Yarran.
swoop..like vultures..
so parko says..hang on..
we won't trade him then.
it's so obvious that we should be teaching him to defend properly, and bringing out his best,
rather than watching that happen at another club.
so frustrating.

Yarran just doesn't win any contested ball he is so soft

He needs to harden up fast

I don't understand the criticism of Bell not running both ways? It's crap.

Bell is very good defensively. The issue has been been that he because he is very raw in football terms he runs to the wrong spots and ears himself out.

He works at that and is getting better. Have hopes he will be very good for us.

Stage-fright maybe?

I am aware that what one does through the VFL may not transpose as well at the premium level, but I'm not going to begrudge him his chance to prove what he can do.

As with Graham, Cachia, Menzel, McInnes, Casboult etc. he's earned his call-up. It's up to him now.

..worried about the Knockers vs Maric battle... ...mids will need to be on top of their game, cos the tigers' mids will shark Knockers' tapouts far better than ours unless we're really switched on.. ..Knockers will get many more taps, but Maric will outmark him everywhere around the ground, and will pose a threat if he pushes cos Knockers doesn't run hard enough to be good either deep fwd or help deep back when in the ruck..

Got a feeling we might win this one ... but it will having nothing to do with Malthouse. This will be a win for the players.

Said it before, and it still holds: Mick has balls.

I like his attitude

It's not a rebuild.

maybe he might play his better players in positions of importance so we might go out and try to win a game.

Not all articles are firewalled..... not totally sure what methodology the mad genius web managers at the HUN use for their revenue raising.
