I just caught the end of something on the radio about Carlton signing someone to a huge deal.

They also mentioned that this would now allow us to trade Fev to Richmond.

Can only mean it was Lance.

Anyone else hear anything like that?

The Carlton Football Club may have just made the biggest mistake of their history.

Most likely two of the biggest mistakes.

Letting Jack Worrall go probably cost us at least one premiership.

Glad to see the speculation is finally over and done with.

If it's "huge" in that he's on huge money (ie >$350,000 per year) then I'm pretty disappointed that the club hasn't stood firm.
If Fev is traded to Richmond as a result of this deal I'll be disappointed (unless they give us Delidio in return).

Well, the Club offered Lance what the Club thinks he is worth (which definately was substantially less then what he was on before). And we know Lance was not happy. Anything else is media speculation and rumour. I reserve my judgement until I am convinced somebody has actually provided information anything near the truth.

See Whitnal signed thread in recruitment. it has been confirmed also saunds from Nixon that Lance agreed to substantial less then what Melbourne offered and that he "moved" on the $ not the club.
