And just for the record, we are still 3 Midfielders Short. Add Judd to that and its 4....

We need at least 3 midfielders to come straight into the Side. Graham, Bell & Ellard should come in....

Ellard does offer something..... he is a forgotten man at Carlton!!!

Agree. My only concern is he has had one game back from a long term injury.

Midfield needs some changes. Will also help Murphy by getting some support around him. Although hasn't been good I believe he has been crucified by surrounding him with plodders.

Like to see Ellard, Gibbs, Murphy, Bell, Graham, Tuohy, Betts all pushing through the midfield and forward line.

Kreuzer and Garlett to face fitness tests
Quote:
ruckman Matthew Kreuzer could return for Saturday's blockbuster against Richmond after missing the Bulldogs' clash with a minor calf strain. He and speedster Jeff Garlett, who suffered a corked glute against the Dogs, will face fitness tests.

Just to add to the excitement we have McBurney pouncing around on Saturday for his 400th - no chance we will be reutered by McBurney and Richmond - just excellent and then afterwards Mick can talk about process

Haha. Yep. Whilst I'm trying to think positive for the last three rounds. Reality is it will be a 10 goal flogging by Richmond!!

All we can hope for now is to lose the next three and finish below West Coast, North, Adelaide, Lions, Gold Coast and Dogs and scoop up another average player with pick 4!!!

It doesn't matter whose playing this week, MM needs to change his game plan, no more boundary b.......t it just doesn't work.
f.....g full scale attacking footy.
Just play open football that's what we are good at and its the only way if we are any chance of winning.
I just hope he considers this option cause his game plan is no good anymore.

I hate watching us play at the moment. You can hear all around you at the footy, everyone saying go down the middle.
We are better at an attacking game, no wonder so many players have gone backwards this year.

I want us to put our mids against there's: no tagging.

well...until we start to get smacked.

Murphy Gibbs Simpson vs Martin Cotchin Delidio

That would be a worth watching

Maric vs Warnock

or

Maric vs Kreuzer

IMO looks like our mids would get better service.
Prefer Kreuzer these days (especially after watching the skinny Warnock flake off after every bounce).
Surely Warnock's greater height agvantage would be too much for Maric...could Warnock get 10 possessions around the ground?

Warnock had 11 possessions last week. Maybe you're joking?
