With less game time and impact from Judd, Scotland, Waite, Carrazzo, Betts, Jamison and Mclean going forward....it's going to get worse before it gets better.
The next two draft and trade periods will decide our fate for the next ten years.
Hope we have pinned our wagon to the right star.

We were shocking ... slow in legs, mind and sloppy with the ball.

MM has had far more negatives than positives thus far ... burnt laidler and duigan.

Judd may as well have remained captain ... nothing achieved there.

We need Yarran back in the back line because he triggers the run ... plus he CANNOT create scoring opportunities for anyone but himself.

Walker out of the forward line has taken away another dimension to our forward ... we are either tall or small with nothing in between.

But despite all that we were heading where we are ... we got ICKEd ... ever since the freo flunkers walked in we have done miserably with list management.

Its a domino effect ... no swap for Warnock ... we could have got some gun midfielders that were available ... no need for Mclean and instead get a KPP that we needed ... no need thereafter to waste 3 draft picks on KPP in 2010 ... get a forward instead in 2010 draft ... no need for Rowe in 2011 draft. One mistake has led to so many. Our launch to a flag got ICKEd.

Bring back John Elliott he's got a lot of spare time on his hands. :garthp:

In all seriousness we are pathetic on the field. Off the field you could go on forever. Mick malthouse is a faillure and we're stuck with him. Malthouse will have a legacy like Pagan tredding water and ultimately drowning. If Essendon* lose their points someone else deserves to finish ninth and play finals.

Oh to be 4 years old. My young fella waving his carlton flag at 9pm singing the carlton song after a loss.

Deluded.

Look people think the AFL killed us... they didnt....

We killed us.

The AFL took some picks off us.. but we got stacks of early ones back...
They fined us a million but gave it back...

On the other hand were still shit.. thats the people that run the club and the people around the club that have [REDACTED] us up....

Yeah ... we should have (Surrey )taken them to court...

Say what you like about the list, MM as coach has failed in a lot of ways this year.

A couple of displays like that next year and he'll be back in the media.

He's not immune.

I agree IMO he's failed in certain areas I expect the coach to take ownership, start with motivation to win with frenzied commitment ala 2012 first 3 rounds.

You would think the 22 that took the field would be playing their skins out trying to make finals, busting a gut with the knowledge there may be a lot of delistings and trades at the end of the year and it won't be me type mentality. No apparently not, our prima donnas need someone to hold their hands, stroke their perfectly coiffed hair and whisper reassuring platitudes.

The fact that the playing group may have been on a downer because of a report on a football show says it all really - mentally weak, fragile and pathetic. Spoonful of cement and harden up please.

I try to imagine what it might feel like to have a team that bust a gut every week.
A team you are proud of even if they lose, because they left nothing on the field.
A team that love playing together, and work as one for the love of the game, the club, the fans, their coach, and most of all for themselves.
I wonder what it might be like to have a coach that brings out the best in individual players, and moulds a cohesive team that would kill for each other on the field.
We don't have that. How long since we did?
We could have showed something today. Every reason too.
It's beyond frustrating.
It's gut wrenching.

That kick out from Walker that landed at Scotland's toes and resulted in a dogs goal was such a momentum killer. Has been awful for a month or so AW I reckon.

Malthouse's ROI has been negative. Bankruptcy levels.

Ratten was like having an investment in a one bedroom flat that netted positive returns three out of five years, was sold off for no profit, and then we invested in a five bedroom waterfront house that netted us the same as the one bedder, yet we are a million dollars in debt.

I hope it pays off. Eventually. That's what I'm banking on. Then I'll be rich. Rich I tell yas!

Yes Ratten was a dud list manager but MM could have given a few the flick at the end of last year.

After all we did offer $1M to Cloke (white knight complex again)

Players need to step up and be counted. Our team with the season on the line wilted plain and simple.... Again! Yes maybe mm hasn't been the deity, but the players have a lot to answer for. How can a Carlton team put up such an insipid performance? This was a game against a shit team. The media has been kind to us in reality, because they have been on the mark with were this list is at. Seems as though most if not all the players tonite just accepted that and had no belief. Harden the @#$%&! up! Show some heart some guts and determination, show something! If it wasn't before its now time to get graham in and give Menzel an extended run. Maybe others...

The problem is there isn't a lot to get excited about. Graham & Menzel. Who else is coming through? Our No.1s are average and we have a bunch of plodders around the middle.

Henderson is a positive and we flunked it getting him.

No choice but to overhaul and quickly.
