I think it was put best by a TCer (can't remember whom) when they said the following

"Why doesn't someone tag Gibbs for a change?"

Agreed!
The most useless media performer I've seen as far as giving an opinion of substance. He's a parrot and a puppet for the club.

I love Tuohy. Should coach him.

No we haven't Bryce.
The following teams have gone past us since 2012: Syd, Ess, Rich, Freo, Port and quite possibly, Bulldogs...

Get serious. What impact can Gibbs have when he's running around in the back pocket. What's more, his opponent doesnt have to work hard to nullify him. Our master coaches are too reactive to change it.
We've become the easiest team to play against. We allow the opposition to drag our attacking defenders out of the play and we're too senile in the box to react to it.
But hey, lets just be ignorant and blame Gibbs instead.

Push him into the midfield, run him off the wing, put him to half forward. Do something but dont lay down like weak dogs in the coaches box and do nothing.

We are a very reactive team.
1) players tend to wait for the opposition to get the ball and then tackle ather than beating opponent to the ball
2) we wait until they've got the ball before we sart running the other way rather than running back to cover proactively
3) coaching tends to be reactive as well. Eg. Against the pies, when Waite went down, we waited until too late to swing Henderson forward allowing them to swing Reid forward

Anyway, the blame lies in many places.

We will need better assistant coaches - especially midfield
We've made a significant recruiting change so hopefully that starts to bear fruit
Player development
Players. Need players w heart. Eg. Sydney players. Armfield should model himself on Kieran jack...

But I digress...

ever since he came to the club, people have always wanted him played somewhere else. When he was put into the midfield he couldn't cut it (didn't get enough possies, too slow, too soft).......so they put him back to HBF and then into the shut down/run with role etc etc. Bottom line is he is a top 10-20 draft pick on his good days, and a lot less on average.

the guy is a protected species because he wears number 4 and Sticks and Ross are mates
Just drop the prick. the reason he doesnt play midfield is because he aint good enough
