He shouldn't be playing if his head's not right he is a shell of former self..
Reality is the Bulldogs are playing well they took it to the swans as well difference is with the swans you cant name many players at the swans who don't put their head over it where with us you'll be lucky to name a few that do.

Guys his knee is shot he barely trains and is 75 percent fit

Murph was crap before that injury. has been worse since. and he's not a captain's bootlace
But don't worry, we'll get 'em next time, eh Murph?

Murph at his best is elite...He will learn from this.
Gibbs is the one we need to worry about..

I know that was supposed to be funny but perhaps the fact that 25% of the players on the ground don't know if they'll be there next season isn't helping their approach.
You're right. Being under the microscope and having your future worth questioned is the perfect excuse to lay down and in no way try to prove yourself.

Having your worth PUBLICLY questioned is not the same as having it privately challenged.
Good leaders/managers don't air their views on individuals in a public forum.

Basic man management skills.

Wasn't Gibbs playing his 50th? Wait till he gets to 150, he will shine.

Clearly the softly softly approach behind closed doors has failed, desperate measures might just be required to get this mob to wake up.

These are supposed to be professionals and grown men, not children. Frankly, I'm over giving a stuff about the players' delicate psyches, the result is a bunch of excuses for tripe like what we've just witnessed. They'll never achieve anything more than some "hey ma, look at me" moments unless they grow the @#$%&! up and take some responsibility.

I'd pay big money to hear what Ratts is saying to close friends and family.

Or....perhaps this was part of the Master Plan?......under MM of course.

Perhaps....this is what they expected deep down?

Who knew?...................not us...............

What a @#$%&! disgrace.
2 million dolars worth of coaching changes and we end up with clueless shit like that.
Unbelievable.

Just what I expected, typical spineless cowards at work. The clean out will start. Pain full as it might seem, to us the time has come and mm is making it look so simple it is not funny. We as supporters are delusional as to our player worship as the scum are to hird.
Piss them off and it has to start again.

Yep, the sycophants are poised.
MM is making it look so easy.

Eddie McGuire has gained his ultimate revenge hey. Not only did he get rid of Malthouse, he talked us into taking him.
He must be pissing himself laughing.

Why is it always someone else's responsibility to "get the players up"? When will it become the individual's personal responsibility to prepare themselves?

That said, it'd be nice to see our current captain showing some actual leadership now and then.
