Round 1 vs Melb at the Dome. Depending on whether you beleive any of the speculation about trades right now, the sight of one of our favourite sons in the other team's colours could be the biggest story in town!!!

Bloody hell that's the problem

Breach of contract surely unless the terms of the 2006 Commonwealth Games were explicitly in the contract between the AFL, Carlton and the MCG.

8 home games at the Dome & 3 at the "G"? WTF????

The board has some explaining to do or otherwise they should be removed.
They're treating their members with contempt atm.

I've had enough. I'm voting Collo out at the next meeting. Even worse if Fev is traded and Whitnall is kept...

By the way, if the 8-3 is true then Prez (I think it was), Surrey and I were right all along about the new deal. Why everyone gets sucked in is beyond me, you'd think you'd learn your lesson after JE

I reckon that's a pretty good draw considering the teams we only play once:

Saints
Crows
Port
West Coast
Kangas
Lions
Cats
Doggies

Sydney is the only definite top 8 side we play twice.

beat me to the punch kennyhunter.....

the 6/5 split does not apply for 2006 due to the unavailability of the MCG due to reconstruction works following the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

After that, under the current arrangements, the6/5 split applies. Although I don't know why we wouldn't be playing more matches at the Dome, but that's just me.

Season starts, Thursday Martch 30 with West Coast v St Kilda at Suvi.

Our first NAB Cup match is vs Geelong at the Dome.

thats a "reasonably easy" run home.

Its going to be painful going through the whole tank talk again for the last half of the season when we only have 3 wins up to round 12.

that was winnable , this was winnable , draft picks this , synbad that
