Pros: won with mids almost non existent

Cons: 35 points up and almost lost

Henderson, Kreuzer, Simpson and Garlett all very good.
Curnow playing to his potential.
Otherwise not a great deal to get excited about.

Plenty of sides have given up big leads this year.

Simmo great.
Kreuzer better around the ground, especially when it counted. Missed everything from ten out.
Hendo should stay forward although we were predictable tonight. He straightens us up.
Rowe didn't do much apart from compete.
Gibbs did about two good things but was missing for the entire night otherwise.
Yarran better
Garlett ditto.
Eddie still not back to his best but was OK.
Armfield OK but missed that sitter at the end.
Jamo beaten on the night by one of the best power forwards in the comp.
Watson did enough. They should use him more at kickouts with Walker running instead of Walker and Touhy kicking out.
Touhy another serviceable game.
Judd tried to lift us but he can't do what he used to do any more.
Lucas will make it as a footballer.
Carazzo quiet.
Murphy ditto apart from some flashes in and out.
McInness serviceable after a couple of early mistakes.
McLean in and out of it.
Scotland OK but is past his best as we would expect by now. Will be hard to replace but we need to think about it.

All in all a hard fought win. We didn't panic and that's a positive but had we been headed? Who knows?

Apart from the lesson in winning a close game, a wasted night. We don't need to scrape into the eighth or ninth position. It means nothing.

WE won and that's all that matters....any and every game!

Wow I'm exhausted.

A lot of stars were down imo but everyone tried.

Kreuzer...Hendo....Curnow...Cachia in the last...Garlett..,bloody Lucas was allright too (yeah yeah about his tackling)...really happy with win.

Watson was a tick from me. He really can't bend over to egt his hands on the ground ball, but that mark was priceless: first of 100's

My BOG was that maniac Simpson.
I wanted him dropped weeks ago.
How quickly some can turn around form...maybe he was carrying an injury because he'd lost pace....got it back now tho.

Nice one boys now lets do it again next week.

Hendo, Waite and a swing Ruck in the forwardline look very potent...at times unbeatable...when they have Garlett Betts and Yarran at thier feet...and don't forget Menzel...geez we're not far...but watching tonight neither team is a top 4 proposition at this stage

Thanks for the win.

I was talking to a friend Wednesday night who is a Norf supporter. I said, well one of us will be happy after Friday night, we can't both choke. She said "it could be a draw", I said no it'll be a one point result, I'm just not sure which way!

We won, but it almost feels like a loss, jeez we tried to blow it. Story of our season, good in patches, terrible in patches. Always so many easy goals to the opposition, I don't know what to make of this side. Army must be relieved, just when I thought his kicking had improved.

Juddy very ordinary (cooked?). Army seems to have lost pace (injured?). Time for Scotto to retire, been a great servant, but it's time.

The amigos showed a bit, Wato good. How good is Hendo? Krooz had best game for the year, better that kick for goal went out of bounds, a point and I reckon it could have been coast to coast goal. Carrots found a bit of form.

Anyone else worried about next weeks game against the Suns?

A point from Garlett's non-mark.

2 weeks ago this mob beat the Tigers by 10 goals at this ground. Yes we are not a top 4 side, but this was a very good solid win against a good side in a desperate game.

We had a lot of good players down and were able to guts it out. It beats the heck out of losing!

That win was HUGE for this team!

We won that game without Judd, Murphy and Carrots! Our engine room didn't dominate, and that in itself has its obvious negatives, but also positives.

Zach Tuohy - Could this guy be molded into a Dane Swan? I know its a big call, but the more I watch this guy play I can't help but see some comparisons between them. He is fast becoming my favourite player.

Geeze i am relieved. Shit day ... Glad to have it end on a up.

One of those games i dont recall much of, except thought we really panicked at the end and midfield could not hold onto possesion. We won because of bursts in 2nd and 3rd qtr when midfield got on top and forwards did their job. Roos ran all night and we struggled to hold them up at times.

Big K and simmo best for mine.

Yarran's intensity in the second and third quarters is what is expected for a full game.

Leigh Matthews couldn't hide his surprise when he took that tough mark.

One can't help but think opposition coaches wouldn't instruct their players to go hard at Yarran. But a great boxer apparently.
