they do nt ask him to do the main job.... they tell him to help them .. sit at the back and dont get ambitious.
he has time on his hands now... he even broadcasted that through that article... he wants to be abit busy.

the timing is perfect....

the problem is this... he is big on governence and accountability..they dont like that route...so he doesnt get involved unless he can do it his way... which he considers the orthodox way...

“I promise you we’ll get it right” — Stephen Kernahan, 13 July, 2013.

This is your sixth year in the chair, Sticks. If you’ve not got it right by now, hand it over to someone who will. The only proviso is that you look outside the current board for your successor. Every director on the Carlton Board is too busy lighting a stick of incense to Richard Pratt for providing what they believe is a ten-year amnesty from actually having to do anything.

Sticks told me just the other day he's found the perfect candidate.

I dont remember him being a panelist, must have been a long time ago.
Wonder if the baggy blue will fit on his head.

Thank God he didn't re-enact 'that' singing/drinking moment when they handed him a beer. Was half expecting him to do so.
