Anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong but I don't recall Watson having a huge bag of goals 5+ kiked on him in any of his AFL appearances.

Thats because he's never left on opponents long enough after they start destroying him.

Waite hasn't played CHB in 2+ years, so I can't see him coming in and playing in defence this week. That means Hendo back to defence. I think we'll see Hendo continued to be moved from end to end on a 'needs must' basis for the rest of this season. He's needed at CHB this week against Norf.

It'll be interesting to see what we do in the midfield. Do we continue to play Carrazzo, Cachia & Curnow in the same side? Or do we go head-to-head with Norf's midfield? I wouldn't be upset if one of those 3 make way for Graham (or Lucas stays in), and on form the one from that trio you'd drop is Carrazzo, but I tend to think we'll go the conservative route....

Assuming Murph, Robbo & Waite are OK-

Tuohy Jamo McInnes
Walker Hendo Simmo
Curnow Judd Cachia
Armfield Waite Murphy
Betts Rowe Yarran

Kreuzer Gibbs Carrazzo

Inter: Brock, Garlett, Scotland
Sub: Robbo

In - Robbo, Waite
Out - Lucas, Watson

Malthouse said yesterday something to the effect that because the VFL side had a Bye last week there should be some fresh blokes from the reserves to bring in. We know he can't be referring to Bell, Ellard, Hammer or Laidler - so who does that leave? Bootsma, Buckley, Casboult, Graham, Menzel, Warnock and White are probably the only ones in contention.

Ive got this crazy idea, seeing is we are crying out for 2 tall forwards, why don't we play both Hendo and Waite up forward, and keep Watson in (heaven forbid, Im no fan but we may as well see if he can improve and from Mick's letter to the members he will play).

And drop Rowe? Who then plays as second Ruck?

I like the idea of Hendo and Waite forward, with Waite as the mobile 3rd tall and keep Rowe at FF to swap with Kreuzer in the ruck for 5-10 mins per Qtr.

Petrie if he's on song will kick a bag on anyone, including Hendo...especially if the Kangas win the midfield and attack through the corridor. On the other end of the ground if we dont play Heno and Waite is also missing then we get he ball, and assuming we win the midfield battle, there is no serious tall target except the lumbering Rowe playing Key target. Nup! Rowe got 3 goals hanging close to goals and Hendo took the No 1 defender.

Watson needs to be told to play closer to his man. If its Petrie then right on his toes. He needs to learn to do this...so do it in the seniors.
Jammo, Watson and McInnes as the talls down back.

Hope Waite is available and added to the group. Need some more ball winning capability in the midfield and it seems that Graham is da man.

Can also see Menzel coming in and releasing one of the Amigos to the midfield.

Not happy with Carrots output since returning to the seniors.

IN/ OUT:

Robinson/ Curnow
Waite/ Carrazzo
Menzel/ Rowe ...shit who plays 2nd ruck????? Watson?????vs Goldstein????? more shit to consider

Waite might not get up and its between Menzel and Rowe as the forward target....height may stretch their defense.
OUT: .................................dunno...maybe Carrazzo,

Very VERY strange to see Carlton at $2 vs North at $1.80. Unusual indeed.

We are one game ahead on the ladder, mind you we have a weaker percentage.

There is no point in Worrying who will be playing down back other than Hendo.....

We need to Go for Broke... Play an all attacking brand of football. The Combination of Hendo/Rowe plus Waite is Lethal, and it will only make the three Amigos even more Lethal...

Let Watson/McInnes and Jamison battle it out, even if they get beaten!!!

Hendo is a Natural forward. He is Huge in Size and has a football Brain. At the same time, let's be a bit realistic as this Combination hasn't yet come across an Established Defense like the Kangaroos & Freo who are coming up!!

If we can somehow scrap a Win from a tired traveling Roos team, we will have a good chance of beating Freo the following week, after both Pavlich and Ballentyne are confirmed Out, whilst few other players Struggle with Injuries.

Watson has never been disgraced in the seniors and has been solid, the only bad game I thought he had was against Cloke when he was flying.
