I voted trade Lance and keep Fev.
Fev will be going to Richmond for pick 8 and a player like Hall or Schultz. Quite interesting that the Tigers come out today to declare publicly they are inteseted in Fev.
By the way I would trade Fev into next years draft.

Most of the Richmond supporters ringing up SEN this morning didn't want Fev at all...

Huh?? Not what I heard. They almost all wanted, him but could only offer up Pattison or Schultz.....Haaaah!! They are kidding themselves. Next they'll be offering Simon Fletcher and a 4th rounder :-D .

Seriously though, we are in a great position having Fev AND Lance and clearly stating we're only tradind 1 player. This means each club will have to do a realistic deal or be gazumped by another club taking the other player (if ya know what I mean). Fev's contracted and Lance will stay if Fev goes so we're in the box seat.

Lets compare Fevola to some of the elite AFL full forwards.

Average goals kicked per game in the past 3 years.

Fevola 2.92
Gehrig 3.68
Hall 3.35
Lloyd 3.75
Richo 2.76

Anyone around 3 or more is performing excellently.
To get a better idea of the averages. have a look at the average inside 50 entries of the respective sides during that period.

Carlton 47.3
St Kilda 52.8
Sydney 45.3
Essendon* 50.9
Richmond 47.23

On those figures, Hall is performing better than Gehrig and Gehrig in fact gets more than 10% more opportunities than Fev to goal.

Unfortunately the statistics on quality of delivery cannot be factored in, but obviously Fevola is is up there with the best.
Lastly, lets not forget which player is the youngest out of this group.

Be warned Denis, if you trade Fevola for shit, you will be held accountable by the members and rightly so.

Trade Fev and Fatnall.

They are both hacks.

We are getting nowhere at the moment with our bumbling list of misfits, hasbeens and wannabees.

Or is it the coaches fault? Don't get me started on that one!

How many can we delist?

We need at least 10 new faces to our clubs.

......and wouldn't it be good to get some of those gun St.Kilda players??

Maybe we could trade Fev, Whitnall, No.1 and No.4 draft picks for Dal Santo? That's what we need, a really classy & skilfull midfielder or 10.

My, haven't times changed!

I would go further BV, and tell not just Denis, but all of them at Carlton to be warned. Think very very hard about this one. Carlton supporters have taken on alot of crap over the last few years. This act might just push many of us over the edge.

The whole thought of trading Fevola is making me physically sick.

A little girl rang up before to put forward a trade scenario for Whitnall. After she said he trade scenario she said that "Fevola won't be traded" and if he is "I won't be a member next year".

Something to think about, Carlton.

Apologies I wasn't listening all morning. What I heard though was that they didn't want his petulance or his underperformance. Either way though I think that Fev will get a kick up the backside.

Keep Fevola, Trade Whitnall

FF's are hard to come by. A fully fit fev will get you 65-80 goals a season.

Lance is handy and if he stay at Carlton next year im guessing he will be in the backline. But for the money he wants i'd rather trade him for a KP defender that will ask for half the cash lance wants

Keep the big red unit, trade Fev - he's an infant.

We have enough forward line talent to live with out his piss poor attitude. He shows it on, and now off the field - not good enough!!

Lance kicked;
4 against Essendon* to basically win the game
5 against the Swans to almost snatch it
2 in the last to pinch the Hawks game, and
4 against Lions to put a rocket up em.
He kicked 24 goals and spent most of the year (almost all) in the back half.

He's capable of kicking goals, or doing jobs around the ground. As far as his fitness goes, let's see Fev keep up with him then argue about how unfit he is.

Yep, when Fish and Waite get the #1 and #2 defenders we'll see how they cope
