Different story if they d brought in Kosi.

I guess you are right. Lee, Hickey, Stanley, Riewoldt and McEvoy shouldnt really be giving us sleepless nights right?

No.
Apart from Reiwoldt, not worried about any of the others.
This isn't volleyball. The ball will have to hit the ground, and when it does, they re toast on the rebound.

Yep, they can't be serious with those selections. At least give Mitchell, Graham and Buckley a go if we are conceding the season.....

FMD - they surely cannot be serious Mr McEnroe!!!

Just like pagan all those years ago - playing for MM's reputation rather than acknowledge that the season is gone and playing those who will have a go - and we need to see them over the 8 weeks.

the likes of Watson, Mitchell, graham, buckley, menzel etc

I will really be pissed off if any of this 22 are continually played and then let go and we haven't tried those above.

wasn't it MM who played the kids at Collingwood - had so many first year players at the same time - how many do we have on Saturday? that's correct....not one.

very telling last week that the pies had 7 of the 8 youngest players on the ground

He already knows Menzel graham can play, test out the other soft cocks to se if they have it or not.Quite simple really!

One less turnover king.
I can live with that

You may need to read up on dislocated kneecaps before you make that accusation.

Just like Kruez said, we are going nowhere.

No kids playing = game has no appeal to me. Not even the thought of booing Milne helps.

MM is on a hiding to nothing.
If he'd ve named a team full of kids, people would ve come out sooking 'Look at him, he's tanking'.

Disappointing selections. Same tang as last year. Hoping to see at least Menzel, if not Watson, Buckley & Graham. Only 1 of them listed in the emergencies just in case. Very tall emergencies too.

He should do what's best for team long term and that means get games into quality kids now season is over

Please play Henderson forward, give me something to look forward to.

Need to freshen up the centre bounces a bit more with Armfield, Garlett & Betts having some time in there.

Robinson also needs to be around the ball because he doesn't lead well enough, mark well enough or kick straight enough to be around goal.

Not a team full ... just one or two would have been nice.

What does the match committee see in having Carazzo, Cachia and Curnow in the same side? Agree with above posters that this is a very disappointing response in terms of selection. We need to get games into the like of Menzel, Graham and Buckley, perhaps even Watson.

No wonder we have no midfield drive with the three taggers and then the three smalls up forward. Very few options. TBH, makes me reluctant to turn up.

Like most I am underwhelmed with the selection, but in the last few games against the Saints their small brigade have absolutely mullered us, so I'm not entirely surprised or upset by the 2-talls-out, 1-tall-in selection, much as it would seem the last thing Carlton should be doing, given our list.

But yeah, would have liked to see non-performers like Betts or walking wounded like Robbo sacrificed for the likes of Menzel, Buckley or Graham (assuming any of those are fit).

From what I can see, this side's been selected with the stench of redemption in the air. For such a capitulation last week that required a public apology from MM, I guess he and the MC might think it beneficial for morale moving forward to let that same list (minus necessary changes) to front up and do the job they didn't do last week. Could be a byproduct of a Leading Teams meeting through the week for all we know.

If they're good enough and they want it enough, they'll win. Simple as that.

Well we're further off than we think if he's a better option.
