..tanking can work, but you need to have a good base/core and 'fall into it', like the pies did and the hawks did to a lesser extent.. ..but when you're coming off such a low base, tanking only gives a boost.. ..we were coming from so far back, that tanking for a few number 1's, not doing much else draft wise, and then going big trades [judd, warnock, mclean], just wasnt the smart overall strategy..
