Well said BV. My point being a review of the club will not help our football department.
The reason some are calling for such, has nothing to do with our on field struggles.
We now need to support and stick together. We cannot keep doing what we keep doing and that is change!
Ill say it again, we created this culture through tanking, trading (Kennedy) and eating our own.
We made a decision to bring in a premiership coach to win us a flag and the first thing we did is make excuses of why we cannot win a flag! Culture continuous! We should be developing our top picks and moulliding our top picks to make them win a flag, not look at trading them away for more top picks, Culture!
The last thing we need is another board change to go with our on field disaster!
People need to take responsibility at all levels of the club Surrey.
We cant sack the coaches and think our problems are solved. The problem exists at all levels. There are issues with our direction, our lack of accountability, our lack of innovation and the obvious lack of real leadership. That can only be addressed by reviewing all aspects of the club.
Is it a personnel issue that is contributing to our malaise or is it structural? The incumbents have had ample opportunity to make accurate assessments from the inside and they have obviously failed to do so or failed to do so competently. Why let the status quo remain when its evidently not working?
Lets be honest, if the board are doing a good job, surely they have nothing to fear.
Its only the insecure and undeperforming who should fear an independent review.
