GWS are closer to a premiership than we are, our peak was 2011.

As per usual, watched the game with my 9 year old son. We watch pretty much every game together.

I said 'son, I sincerely hope you get to see a Carlton premiership in your lifetime. I won't be seeing any more in mine'.

Made me want to cry. Seriously.

Re build required, window bricked over, blokes in their late 20's should really move on if they crave a premiership, they wont get one at Carlton.

The whole thing is much much worse than I first thought.

There is no tweak for a flag. The group which roughly begun 07-08 is cooked and will be dismantled.

We created a side originally based on Fev and Judd, the side peaked in 2011. If we still had Fev in 2011 who knows how far we could have gone?

Anyway the era (with the legacy of 1 finals win) is over they have failed, and there will be aggressive trading.

We should do whatever we can to get the number 1 pick. Daisy also would be excellent as we need all the class we can get (im guessing he will stay anyway).

Thanks to the inept recruiting of Wayne Hughes and crap list management of Ratten.

Totally agree.

You know you have recruited poorly prior to the draft you read about this kids names by people like Emma Quayle and Matt Burgen and then they end up on our list.

You need to go way back to understand the real problems.

To challenge you have to be top 4.

Yeah and the problem is for 10 or more years now the clubs been void of any smart football brains running the joint. Not one person with a vision and a success plan to rebuild this club.

THe Carlton way is to go out and buy premierships. That doesn't cut it in 2013 football...... It's hasn't for 12 or more years now.

The club is still living in the past and its the likes of Kernahan and his crew that are the major problem

I'm surprised there has not been a person passionate and connected enough to challenge Sticks. Is the Pratt control that strong?? What exactly is that family giving us in real terms?
