Ill be the only serious suggestion on this thread and id like to see Paul Salmon as a ruck coach!.

He could also be a good forward coach.

Who said I wasn't being serious?

I was dead serious when I suggested Burton.

Scott Wynd would be an exceptional choice should he be available.

Scotty Wynd used to work for Vicroads and was my driver's licence tester... Maybe 1994... post Brownlow...

I was serious about Clarke because I rate his tap work skills and he is one of the best I have seen...however he appears to want to put on the boots for one more season with the Crows...

Scott Wynd might be ok...maybe him and Libba could do some work in that area with both rucks and onballers...

Primus has retired so I nominate him again if we pry him out of South Oz.

It's a good suggestion except he's still got a year to run on his contract, and no doubt they've offered to pay him 'over the odds' to retire as a player and come on as an assistant coach. Otherwise he'd be a great option to pursue.

Primus has retired to accomodate Daniel Motlop perhaps...and in return looks like getting a job with Port doing some coaching...

Primus hangs up boots
:-D Get on board and re-join Stevens and French, we might even give you a game! :(

Primus might also look at an assistant coaching role elsewhere.

No rumour here but we need a coach who is over 5 foot tall and Primus fits the bill
He is a leader who kept big head tred from securing a permanent leadership role
He seems a top bloke
Could play and unlike most ruckman had a real impact when fit
Excellent user of the body one on one and this is an area we are shit in
Is young and comes from a successful culture
Would be univerally admired by the club unlike our previous assistant who has gone to the filth and there is a connection with the fry
Go on DP give Primus a call

Let's merge him with our favourite Autobot!

Optimus Primus for coach!

(Sorry, Tyrant's other thread has opened a childish wardrobe in the back of my head.)

Is Lindsay Smith available?

Would be good to see him and Denis back together for the third time.

Corey McKernan - about time he did something for the money we've paid him for the past 2 years!
