Just @#$%&! hurt someone. Legitimately 'in the contest' of course drive them into the fence and out of the game. Just once.

On SEN before the game Dermie said that all the teams know Carlton is soft. No shit Sherlock!

we weren't soft for 3/4's tonite. i was proud of 'em up until half time..evem Gibba got in Hodges face for a bit.
we needed to thwack a few after that though.

fell short on the thwacking.

Hard at the ball is one thing. But nobody is scared because they know we don't go out to hurt.

At the ball yeah. But nobody ever short steps our blokes. Just run through someone, pay the 'good bloke, going the ball, footy is going soft' card and roll the dice.

Are you for real.

That sh1t is for people who can get away with it.

We got pumped in the last quarter already.

Just back players who back themselves like they did tonight.

Umpiring getting to the stage now blatant corruption now, they should have been pelted with eggs coming of the ground tonight.

Soft is one thing, being too weak and get pushed off easily is another.

Thought we were hard tonight and uncharacteristically anti social at times. I liked it.

Still needed to take Hodge on but we didn't. He is hard, nasty and highly skilled. We don't have any of that type in our side. Unfortunately.

Soft?!!

That was the toughest we've been in forever. We took no shit and roughed up the bullies that normally smash us.

Call us unpolished, unfit, unfocused if you like, but the last thing we were tonight is soft. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

We were, but we expend too much energy with little result.

definitely not soft tonight

physically, I think we have been good all year, we let ourselves down mentally

tonight's loss was due to poor umpiring and a lack of composure

Yes there were some positive steps forward to night and I hope one Chris Yarran had a good look at what is required at this level. Hope he dominates tomorrow. We need his polish in the forward line.
