One too many talls in the end. Worked well early though.
Casboult terrible after the first quarter. Man down.
We look awesome until we fatigue. You can see it happening.......... you see us going flat chat early and know we are not getting it on the board. Then late in the third you see our backmen starting to trail their HFF and then the game breaks open.
Is our gameplan too taxing and inefficient? If it is not that then we need to get fitter or come up with a better formula with position rotations.
Passing to their trainers twice didn't help.
We were very unlucky from halfway through the 3rd quarter.
I don't think we fatigued as much but our composure in the forward 50 was ordinary in the last. Three really good chances went begging.
Losing Murph a issue?
Didn't help.
Anyway Club I reckon that was NOT a Ratten game we played tonight and I think it was a great effort.
I agree. I am reasonably happy. Good armwrestle. We matched it with them but when we do slow up later in games our game falls away.
Looks great when we are full of run (but don't score enough).
We need to identify the players that don't put in the kms.
Robo looked spent by half time and you can count on him falling away. The third tall Caz/Rowe also robs us of a runner. If murphy didn't get injured then we sub one off for lucas( a runner) and there is a chance we can keep up so we are probably unlucky there.
Very happy we are not involved in shootouts. Hopefully we can keep it tight and compact for the next month.
Get the tall players situation/balance worked out to allow us get the best out of our gameplan.
