My North friends want him to. Think he'd finally push out Spud Firrito.

Me too. Hawks by over 60 in our first blowout. We will start well though and catch them offguard.

Waite reported in the last after being frustrated by Gibson , Lake and hurried entries into the 50 all game.

We will learn a lot.

I sincerely hope he stays.

I don't know if there are still issues with his fitness etc but I hope there is.

I also hope that MM isn't being a little inflexible by not trying to find a spot for him.

St Kilda might be in for him to with their deficiencies...

Makes you wonder all the more why he doesn't get a gig with us. He's probably got more merit than, arguably, White or Hampson at either end of the field.

Someone asked me before if I was nervous....I said only about losing by 90 rather than honourably.

What he said.

I was having a relaxing afternoon, getting ready for the weekend when I remembered we were playing!

Last time I felt like this this year was against the Eagles..... wait.... nerves kicking back in again.

I really believe we are chance. For 60 plus minutes last week we were very good. Should of put them away. We are also only 11 games into a new style that is continually changing and adapting. It isn't easy.

IMO we are way ahead of last year in terms of our competitiveness. MM just needs to find out who will stand up and who wont. The Yarran stance will end up being a huge positive.

Tonight is our biggest test so far and given what happened last week I expect us to throw everything at it.

The two amigo's to have a field day off the great work of Henderson and Waite up forward.

Blues by 28.

Hope it's correct and he lines up in defence. Looked good there in the reserves. If he can hold his spot releases Hendo forward.

Last season I was dissappointed Ratts went in so small against Hawks. And Gunston & Roughy ran riot. Mick is doing the same tonight.

I'd understand if it was at the G but not Etihad. Obviously going for speed but it hasn't worked against hawks for years.

Hawks will hav Buddy, Roughy, Gunston & Hale all fwd at times. Boots is going to have to step up, Walks will have to play taller and Hendo won't be able to swing fwd.

Unless

Kreuzer goes back and mans a Hale or possibly Roughy
Or
White is a late inclusion

Hawks go tall and we'll get exposed for height, Hawks go short and they will still monster our little blokes.

We go tall and get exposed for pace, we go small and there talls will just mark everything.

Sorry I can only see an empty glass tonight.

Hawks by flowering plenty, and this club will have to take a seriously hard look at itself.

They could send out Mitchell's mother-in-law out there "Weekend at Bernies" style and they will still win by around 7 goals.

What?? To soon???
