In an ideal world our blokes will run out full of rage and physically smash their 'unsociable' types...but it will be the same story of getting bullied by the Hawks, and our players too weak as friggin piss to do anything about it.

Might have to call a club meeting with the parents after this one....

im sure some of them can bully birchall around.. and hill... and make them look over their shoulder... and niggle guera into giving away free kicks.

in the middle they have to compete.. in the periphery they just need to be nasty ... usually we try to stand up in the middle ... those inside mids they have love all that stuff.... ust force their outside midfielders into mistakes by being in to THEIR faces...

trust me.. theyre not all hard...

i can live with someone getting three to hammer birchall...i wanna hear some bones cracking.....i want these outside hawks to hurry their kicks and their inside players to have to run around trying to protect them....

i want buddy abused and harassed... so hes not focussed... most of all this week id bring in robbie for a rucking advantage

Which begs the question, would he have provided a similar rucking advantage last week?

Go with an extra tall or drop Casboult/Kreuze?

Been said about twenty times since he got dropped.

Ineligible to play.

Been awhile since they've had a tough game.
I reckon we could take them.

Same 22.

But what about Lucas?
Everyone hates Lucas.
He must never play again apparently.
He is the problem with Carlton it seems.
With him in we can only lose.
This much I do know according to people on here.
I am enlightened now

nah hes just shit... weak and poorly skilled.

What took you so long?

With all due respect Rhino think outside the box a bit.

Who says he stays ineligible? I'm sure if they wanted him in they'll get him in.

not sure at this stage... all i know is we should exploit their ruckmen.
stand strong in the middle
and beat them up around the outside... every time some of their outside runners touch the ball its a crunch
and everytime their playmakers are on the ground ... grind them into the turf...

we never do this.. but every one does it to us...
you can just bet murph etc will cop it..

i suggest we begin doing it this week... and do what geeelong do to them... hit their outside players so they begind shitting themselves.

their inner players are iron clad... dont worry being overly tough against them... just no backwards steps

we never take the initiative...

Syd exploited their outside runners in the GF last year too.

Mind you Syd are about the only side with enough tough big on ballets to take them on in the inside department.

The funny thing is I do not think this will be the biggest test.

If we are worried about what the Hawks will do with us think of the damage the Swans will inflict

What do you suggest? Hobbling Joseph in the car park after training, so we can put him on the LTI?

If the pain of losing to Essendon* the other night drives us to victory against Hawthorn then I will be happy with that loss.

The reason being that we know we can beat Essendon*.

A victory over Hawthorn is a gain in real terms. It would tick off progress.

i agree but when has the pain of losing driven this pack of softcocks to anything before?

would desperately like to believe it but just cant see it happening.

That would do it, anyone here want to hide in the carpark to get the job done?

Nothing at all to indicate we can win this. It would be a massive upset, which would be cool, but totally unexpected and unlikely.
