Get rid of Jamison? Why let someone like him go when we lack KPP quality?

Should we trade Hendo too?

Jamo is at least in the best 4-5 full backs in the comp, do people remember what it was like post Silvagni, quality full backs don't grow on trees.

The one time I've said he's in career best form (week 4) and since then he's played like a dog. Trade him. Won't get any better. You blokes think trading a host of b and c graders will get the job done...no idea.

Should have shopped him around before he was made captain.

We need to test the market.

How else do you improve.
It's not the bottom 10 changes that will lift us.

I'm not advocating sweeping changes to the list but why not shop some quality around?

How else do you improve?
The old Tc trade of 3 crap players for 1 good one. It doesn't work that way.

We aren't that good we don't have that much quality that we should think 80% of our list is untouchable.

Don't trade for the sake of trading but we should sure as hell be exploring all possibilities.

Yep spot on Gro, totally agree

Don't think the coach agrees Doc.

Like most good judges.

GWS were really interested in Kreuzer i would trade him for starters as he still has some currency. I dont think he is half the player we all thought he was going to be.

Funnily enough Cimm, the decision won't rest entirely with the coach. Part of the problem with Carlton people nowadays is that they have accepted mediocrity. Part of the mediocrity at Carlton is we don't even have a list manager. We let people like Greg Swann make decisions. If you think Andrew McKay is a list manager - you're sorely mistaken. He's no more a list manager than I am a veterinarian (to my credit I have delivered a calf, docked lambs tails and euthanized sheep with a small piece of lead below the ear).

But I get your point re: Mick. Meanwhile, we still employ Wayne Hughes who has been an absolute failure as a recruiter. So he's got his work cut out for him. Mick's a pretty good judge. He's the coach for a reason and he'll get the list he wants. But a good judge also realises he might have to give up something to get something. A point lost on many on this forum.

Wayne Hughes is no longer in charge. A small but important fact you left out. With the Geelong bloke now on board he may even be the third banana.

I understand plenty Doc. You made the call on Jamison repeatedly and he's turned out to be a fine defender.

Yep, just rip the heart out of the club. Kruezer turned down a huge offer from them to stay so lets just ship him off like he is an object.

Who was Jamison's opponent during the game Doc and Cimm?

Surely when it comes to list management one of Hampson or Warnock will go.

The first person we should get rid off is Wayne Hughes, I don't understand why he would be demoted but still involved. Makes me sick when I look at our drafting whilst he was the main man. He should go immediately.

wayne hughes third banana???

cos of the geelong bloke?
now why would the geelong bloke be any good if he is uncontracted and can leave geelong half way into a season ....with all the geelong intelligence???

fair dinkum ... maybe im a cynic.. maybe clubs talk shit or maybe clubs are dumb.....or maybe a combo of all 3.

but i doubt that geelong bloke is amazing but he has no contract.. and geelong are that unprofessional that he can leave through a season and just bring all the geelong intelligence with him.... so i doubt it.

second.. WH is gone.. kind of .. but his legacy will live to haunt us for a long time
so we cross our fingers with rogers and hope hes not a repeat

The point is that Wayne Hughes is still there. How does he sleep at night? Why are we still paying him for mediocrity? It's a joke. Yeah...you get plenty....keep telling yourself that. Tell you what - I'll give some credit where it's due. For a rookie, he's done alright. But the reality is that Carlton people overrate him. Get something for him while you can. Preferably midfielders who can kick!

I don't know why he's still there.

Maybe he has strengths we don't know about. Cazz might be able to enlighten us.

But know its Shane Rodgers show and he will be judged accordingly.

We need to take emotion out of these hard decisions that need to be made.

We all love Kruezer and I'm not saying I want him traded but I want this club to be a powerhouse again and if it means trading out likeable players, so be it. Spare no one I say.

What have been his bad games?

He wasn't beaten by Daniher FFS.

I and others are advocating trading Yarran and Kreuze, hardly rubbish players.
