Shattering loss.

Knew it in the first half when we had all the running but couldnt put them away..........knew it would bite us on the bum. We have players with pace to burn thou, only Garlett and Walker played OK. Betts, Armfield were either decoys tonight or just well off the boil.

Really proud of Cachia, Curnow and Casboult. For 3 much maligned players, and I admit I was a detractor of theirs too from time to time.......they all played out of there skins tonight. White played a great game but he'll have nightmares about that last kick for ever and a day.

MM said a few weeks back that goal kicking wasnt an issue....it was more not adhereing to the tactics and general skill errors that hurt us. MM, for all the hard work we do, they need to PRACTICE their goalkicking every fudging night......... :hitcomputer:

Goal kicking was ok. It was Lucas obvious shot that was costly + the review system

Henderson was good all night but stuffed up that last kick to Yarran; who would've been away with the ball if he'd kicked it 4 feet more than he did....anyway.....we lost; and it hurts.

Ezard, Bewick, Moorcroft, Melksham... where do Essendon* keep on finding these little scumbags.

The only shining light is that Melksham's progress looks to have been... a-hem... enhanced

Foot skills haven't improved

Kreuzer and Judd don't have the legs to run out the game (nor kicking skills)

Warnock is our #1 ruck, Casboult is CHF and Waite FF and Kreuzer......?

Eddie never in it yet sub off Robbo?

Leave the corridor wide open time after time?

My whole family supports the drug f#@inf cheats.

Godamn it to hell.

We'll finish ninth!

Kreuzer? Hopefully GWS next year

Love the boy but he's slower than McLean. He's a lumberer, playing 50 years too late.

I thought Yarran was half arsed. Make sure you are in front at a minimum, there was no excuse or that

When Waite was being held in the second half, it would hve been nice to see Hendo as a target inside 50.
Levi was good.Kruz couldnt run out the match.

Eddie looked very rusty (hardly surprising). Presuming Yaz was fit, why wasn't Eddie the one wearing the vest?

Lucas overall didn't play that bad a game. But if I'm correct, he had two awful shots at goal, and scrubbed one along the ground that Eddie toed through. Memo to Lucas, never shoot for goal again, always hand it off.

Should be an interesting game when we play Norf. The Chokers Cup?

This one hurts but when does it hurt enough to make us win?
Hendo curnow Simpson were excellent
Kreuzer was really poor. Hands straight above head is not a marking technique
Yarran has lost two games for us this year due to a lack of intensity
Robo disappointing
We need to structure up with another forward option
Waite outstanding
DonT let the emotion obscure the fact we are not far off it

Never in my life have I been so angry at the performance of our club; even when we were well in front I was furious at how inefficient our I50-to-goal ratio was due to poor decision after poor decision trying to thread the needle for passes or plant a kick into a pack in the wrong fashion (not to mention the way we set up in packs).

Every time their pride, composure and commitment are given a real test, they falter.

Seemed like the plan was to keep the ball away from the opposition , away from contests, but I thought they looked too cautious, being too careful, instead of running hard and really attacking, seemed they were really frightened of the turnover, and its effects.

Might sneak in to the 8 at best. Long way off the top sides.

Still can't believe we lost tonight. I mean, really?

To drop away so badly after being in such a strong position is unacceptable. Just illustrates that our mental weakness is still a major hindrance to any meaningful development.

Fair point from Phillip Coorey

Wasn't the whole point of a new coach to give them some spine? Now we just choke. Lot of money just to miss finals again
