We wont get within 6 goals of the Bombers.

No peptides, no drugs blah blah blah....... they have progressed well past us over the past 8 -10 months.

We beat them by 96 pts last time we played. Though they've had upset wins against us early on in the past few years, we've also thumped them every other time. This year we play them rd 11, not rd 3 or 4. We know what to expect this time.

This lot hold no fears to our playing group and that counts for plenty. Just ask Saints players what their mindset is every time they play us.

Will go down to the wire me thinks.

It'll be a tough midfield battle but their defence is quite tall; Fletcher, Hooker, Carlisle...even Hibberd plays quite tall - who are the matchups for Yarran/Betts/Garlett?

Dempsey likes to run off his man. Baguley isn't that quick.

The small forwards are a huge advantage.

Part of me likes the idea of Essendon* winning every game before being hit with doping penalties the night before the GF

I hear ya but will never happen - Demitrispew has already 'cleared' the Golden One and Evans has probably agreed the slap on the wrist they are to get :banghead:
Hope we smash that scum-bucket of a team

You reckon?

If we win this week and they lose I'd expect a full week of Blue pumping media. While Essendon* will be the brave underdogs with ASADAsomethingorother weighing heavily on their poor shoulders.

In that case I can see Jamo or Hendo giving him a bath.

A Simon White "spoil" should do the trick.

Fine by me. We ll just have to give him a 'welcome to the AFL' similar to the one Malthouse instructed his Pies players to give Jack Watts back in 2009.

But it was the VIBE of those touches that counted. Given our shortage of up and coming midfielders you can forgive a guy for premature echampulation.

Seeing they're playing the Bombers, I'd rather they kick 7.47.

I feel a Robbo special comming up. This game brings together his hatred of all things Malthouse and love of all things Essenhird.
