Casboult in for Warnock. Warnock has been sore for a couple of weeks now. Needs to rest that leg.

Menzel will get a full game. Almost has to.

Carrazzo and Yarran? Hope so but don't know how close they are. If ready, Curnow and Bootsma will go back to the VFL

Wouldn't start messing with any other changes for now and as well as they're doing I see no need for introducing Watson, Laidler or anyone else for that matter.

Continuity now is king.

Who knows just yet. Seems to me that we've played at 3/4's of our best so far this year.

The losses have been deflating and the wins have just been reliefs. Strange year to date.

I don't care if we take the odd step back as long as we're then taking two forwards next time around.
The first half of this year hasn't told us anything but the last half will tell us everything.

With Betts down another week, I'd love to see Buckley get a forward pocket.

Foot speed and nifty. We need it.

No need or reason to rest.

I hope Bell gets another full run. Lots of improvement in him. Like see Casboult & Menzel get a go.

Might well go with one ruck.

If any doubt at all on Yarran & Carrots don't play them.

Think you may well be on the money there.
Warnock has hobbled around during the last 2 games with knocks. Talk of the desire to almost play Cas last night.
Full game for Menzel would be good.

Bye for the NB's are untimely.

Three games actually BT.

Was really sore early on against The Saints after a knock, looked injured again against Port, wearing a bandage on his right knee this week and didn't move well again last night.

Saints, trying to forget one.... but now you mention it, was that in the 1st Q.?

STK loss is the one that got away so far. Adelaide disposed of them too easily & pipped by WBD, geez, that hurts. We really do capitulate against them.

Need to fire against GWS on disposal, protecting the ball carrier, forward structures/entries and goal kicking.

No 'resting', but I'd leave Warnock who is clearly sore out, and Brockly with his concussion.
Casboult in for Knackers, and Menzel or Carrazzo (if fit) for Brock.

I'd also consider White out for Watson, as he may give us the flexibility to sub Jamo out for a bit if a rest, or move Hendo forward, depending on how the game is going.

Would like Carrots to get a run before the big games come, where's he at?

Think White matches up very well on Jeremy Cameron.

Warnock for Casboult makes sense. Maybe an extra midfielder in, and play Murphy up forward for 3/4 of the game. Otherwise, is there anyone that is particularly hampered by not having played in the Ants for past few weeks?

Yarran straight in makes sense, given the likelyhood of VFL standard being no guide to his performance usually. Could probably afford to give Carrots another week off, if only to try and work out our best midfield set up. Cachia is showing enough to stay in for the time being, but still question marks over long term. Does Curnow stay in without an obvious tagging job to pull off?

If Carrots doesn't play this game he will have missed 5 weeks which is quite a bit of footy.

I think Yarran will miss again.

Probably worth giving Buckley a run with Yarran (assuming) and Betts out.

I've been bagging Warnock lately, but if he's playing injured i'll cut him some slack.

Which begs the question.....why flower play him then :banghead:

It's all well and good to say 'play Menzel and Buckley for a full game', but by doing that we actually put more of a load onto the senior players in the team because those young players won't be able to manage the same amount of TOG.

Ideally, I think we want Judd, Murphy etc to play this game but spend 10%+ less TOG so they are that little bit fresher for Essendon* (plus it gives the likes of Bell, Cachia and Curnow an opportunity to take more responsibility in the midfield this week).

So we might see someone like AJ or even Duigan come in against GWS if Brock doesn't recover from concussion in time and Carrazzo and Yarran are still unavailable.

If Warnock is sore, I'd give Casboult the opportunity ahead of Hammer. If Jamo needs a rest (although I'd rather he played), it's probably a choice between Watson or Laidler. Pick Watson if there's a suitable match-up because Laidler has spent the last month in the forward line for Northern.

Look, I'm not sure. But I think I only gave 90%.
In fact, I'm certain!
