so much so, that even Leading Teams couldn't manage to unearth any leaders in our group. we're flowered until the mix changes

Geez that was a shit game of footy. Far from convincing but just relieved we didn't cough it up in the end.

Hard to find stand out players...Cachia wasn't bad but just lacks a bit of polish at times. Liked robbo's game.

What did Warnock do did that pissed the Lions off?

He was a bit late in one of his efforts letting a lions' player get a stat.

how does leading teams get players to be honest and truthful with one another.. when apathy, unprofessionaism.. delusion and deflections and excuses are rife throughout the whole footy club from top to bottom???

we get a taste of all that right here on TC....

Could Kruezer be any more blue collar?

0.7 last two weeks !!

He's not a good enough kick to play forward.

Interesting MM said they almost played Levi. Would he have played in place of or in addition to Keuezer?? That'd surely be too top heavy if latter??

They did secure Darren Harris through their time @ CFC. One isn't too bad.

I had thought our goal kicking had improved this year but tonight it was [REDACTED]. 90% of shots we missed were not difficult.

What's the point of having Kreuzer up forward when he simply cannot kick a goal? 0.6 in the last 2 games plus at least one shot that missed everything.

Simon White has been good so far this year but was terrible tonight. Andrew Walker did not have a good game either IMO.

Bootsma not a great choice as sub and we are really missing Eddie, Yaz and Carrazzo and I don't reckon Yaz or Carrazzo will be back next week either (tho we are only playing GWS).

I love Dennis Armfield.

Anyone think Brown might be in trouble for wacking Jameson? If the victim rubbing his chin after the fact is a prerequisite for suspension he certainly could be.

Our players make the common mistake of trying to "caress" the ball when kicking for goal from close distances. Caressing the ball means you bend the knee at a very high point when you make contact with the foot.

Easily fixed ... players should always do a "normal" kick when shooting from close distances. If you are 20 metres out just try and kick it 40 metres and NOT just to clear it just past the goal umpires head.

And Kruezer ... your run up is way too long and you are running to quickly on your approach.

People should realize some things change a lot week to week. Brisbane beat Essendon* and lose to us. Collingwood smash Geelong then get destroyed by a Sydney team who were average for two weeks.

We comprehensively outplayed Port and Brisbane but didn't make them hurt on the scoreboard.

I'd rather anyone in our team than Jed Softcock who doesn't like to be touched.

We won by 13 points when we should have won closed to 13 goals.

Malthouse pointed out two things - second quarter lapse and missed goals. So he's onto it an not satisfied whereas last year Ratten would have said job well done.

Plenty of positives. Lucas, Cachia, Bell... These guys went alright. Gibbs will be better for the run. Missing 3 of our best.

And we are above Collingwood.

Enjoy your Sunday folks.

Only just got in after watching game politely (through gritted teeth) at a birthday dinner, with TV in another room, ended up not enjoying either birthday or gamr. Would have to be one of the most dissatisfying wins I have ever seen.
