Liking Cachia but he just needs to be cleaner at times.
What a story Armfield has become. Rarely gets beaten.
Hopefully Kreuzer's marks will start to stick.
Simmo seems to be getting involved more past couple of games.

Only seen the last 2 and 1/2 quarters.

Pros:

We won a close game.
Fought back hard in the 2nd half.
Armfield (one of my favourite players for some time now). Nearly always does his job. Keeps kicking clutch goals, when others can't.
Waite.
Jamo.
Kreuzer taking forward 50 marks.
Nice to see Gibbs back in the team.
Judd (although he's not the player he once was).
Robbo. Has a few knockers, but I love him. He's our 2nd best key position forward at the moment.

Cons:

Should have been another comfortable win, if we had more players who could ice the game up forward. Would be nice to actually kick more goals than points for once.
Kreuzer's set shot kicking for goal. Got the yips.
Even Scotto and Garlett missed sitters. And they've both been reliable this year.

Kruezer has now kicked 0.7 in 2 games.

Not good enough

don't wanna sound like a broken record but hanley was unsighted 2nd half. he and moloney alone got them back into it 2nd qtr.

the great man denis saved our butts with his 2nd half tag on hanley.

Cheers Army :smoking:

Just the weirdest couple of games I've seen us play for years.

Too true Cimm. Hard to watch.

50 more possessions (40 more contested possessions),16 more marks, 21 more hit outs, 8 more scoring shots, won everywhere except tackles.

And yet the game was in the balance with 5 minutes to go.

Will take it.

Used to be a deadeye dick

Warnock just doesn't offer enough...and Kreuzer plays better without him.

Did Murphy even play?? Talk about going AWOL!
Again Judd has to do the job. He's still the skip!!

Kreuzer at the cross roads. Terrible in the ruck and as a forward can't hit the side of a barn.

This side can't handle being the hunted.
Mentally piss weak. Devoid of leadership other than no.5

On a positive note, we came back in the second half and guts it out. To be fair at half time the signs
were not the best having conceded 5 or 6 straight.
Cachia did a good job for most of the night . Dennis can be relied on to do a job.
Brock good.
Waite very good early.Like another poster mentioned Im not sure why Lucas was out target inside forward
50 in the last when Waite had given them so much grief all night.

Funny thing i noticed at the start of the 3rd. Inside 30 second they had a shot on goal and missed.Simmo, instead of letting
his direct opponent know about such a crutial miss , gave him a "she'll b right, better luck next time" love tap.
I am on his case a bit this year...but FMD, more passion please Simmo.

Overall scrappy interstate win. Move on to next week.

MM is just being a hard head on this one.
White is just a top up player.
And while I'm at it, we must have the worst collective of ruckmen on our list
Not one of them is a good (not excellent) ruckman AND a good follower/resting fwd
Warnock is the most flowering overrated player in the AFL

We won but some of it was hard to watch

Impressive were the Swans last night ..... gee I'd love us to play with that intensity for 4 quarters (just once) ..... Perhaps they can surprise me in 2 weeks time

Take an away win (again). Not playing great football but chalking up some wins. Hoping that it clicks as the year progresses.
Hawks & Swans will be the test.
GWS: we need to win big and better our fwd entries & more importantly our conversions.

Our guys love watching the NBA and are always tweeting about so and so "getting it done". Surely as professional athletes they want to be known as someone who gets it done. An "ice man"or "reliable under pressure".

A bit of hypnosis is required to make these guys want to take the shot, make them love having the opportunity and showing the footy world what they are made of.

They are all very shy when it comes to nailing one. Like they are embarrassed to be the person who cashes in on others hard work.

Embrace it and "GET IT DONE".

Good to win in the end. I thought we were gone at half time.
