What a load of shit. They're not showing already paid up members how good it is to get exclusive content. They're showing us how they try to milk us of every cent we have. I chose not to sign up to this package when I renewed and thought it was poor form then too but getting an email about it today just grinds my gears. and for the record I didn't watch the 'teaser' video they sent with the email.

I dont think we are the only club doing this. Check out the add on page 68 of todays HUN, there is an ad for digital membership with Essendon* called Word from Hird. It also cost $50. Not sure if they include these memberships in their numbers or not.

Great that we've had 8000 new members, concerning the same number have dropped off. Easy place to start trying to entice those people back.

It would be what you signed up for. If you provided your email and accepted these reports, you'd get them as part of the silver membership I'm sure

Nope. I'm signed up, I've checked it several times. I get other emails from the club, just not the coaches ones it seems. Happened with Ratts as well.

I just watched it, was pretty much word for word with the regular 'From the coach' emails we get.

Reckon at least half of them are dead.

Having said that, the zombie demographic is something that is probably an untapped avenue for our membership team at this stage...

At the meeting I'm December we told the club that value for money was an issue, especially for the more expensive memberships and exclusive content for members would be a great way to improve this. They did not listen to us. I assume people hav e not coughed up with xtra 50 and ppl are pissed off. Also been surprised they scaled back the blue view to every second week and don't bring guests on. A bit disappointed as the feedback was very clear.

They're now heavily promoting 3 game memberships with one of those games a blockbuster....as long as they are in the hunt and win 1 or 2 of those games against the cheats, Dawks and Sydney they just may get to 50k
