I dont agree Mark.. were talking about the assistant coaches...

I already said ages ago they should go...

In fact i said ages ago they were under review and most likely changes will be made.
My point is about the board as a whole and their backflips and lack of leadership thats flowing through the club at the moment because we dont know what to do.

Whether Pagan is getting the most out of a bunch of broken down hacks and kids that have no role models is not the point....

The infrustructure is breaking down ...
Pagans the right man to do the job if he is given the right messages about what WE NEED..

If you tell Denis that the president wont be around when we win the next premiership.. the board wont be around.. the senior players wont be around and either will you Denis.... but what we want and need from you is to build PLATFORMS for the future .. were not expecting miracles.. we know it will take time.. but OUR COLLECTIVE JOB AS ACLUB TODAY is to lay down the foundations for this club to have a window of opportunity to win something in FIVE YEARS from today......that would be what Denis would be coaching towards.

At the moment.. we have NO PLAN.. so everyone is shit scared!!!.. and Denis gets signed up by the board some of who are getting nervous and knee jerky so he feels comfortable around blokes like TROUT!!!....

The board just signed Fev up and have him on the trade table.. the board told us Lance is useless and were strict with contracts and his offer jumped up another 50k....of course he wont sign it because there is no stability and leadership at the club..

Synbad my friend obviously what i have posted is not to your liking. I to enjoy watching Fev when he is on song just like the masses, what I can't cop is his dummy spits. Yes i understand he cannot have a blinder every game but it is a team sport and he is accountable for his actions just like the next player. Leaning on the boundary fence against Essendon* - what the heck is that? Not what I expect from the face of the club, in fact at 25 years of age he should now be showing some leadership. He was around some mighty fine leaders during his time - here's a few - SOS, McKay, Sexton, Braddles has anything rubbed off?

Not holding us to ransom? I beg to differ. You criticise our players for demanding exorbitant wages and yet you let Fev 's demands go through to the keeper. You see you and I share similar views in relation to the game and the CFC but we cannot agree on matters. Do I want Fev out? No but if the offer is good just like every other player - lets deal.

Fev plays the joker role well but he is an goal kicking ace. He knew what he wanted and he got it - $350k plus $100K equates to $450k. That's what he expects to hit his account for the next 3 years. And i what do i expect from Fev? I expect him to kick goals, i expect no more dummy spits, I expect him to be a team player, I expect him to stay back at training and practise his goalkicking, i expect him to develop his leadership qualities. That's all!

Back to Brad Scott....he offers us a new perspective on things and has come from a successful club in a successful era....I think the present players would respect him because they know him from playing against him and know he wouldnt take any rubbish from anyone..

No objections to Peter Dean either..in fact Dean and Scott are cut from similar cloth and played the game in similar fashion and might be a good combo.....either way I think both Dean and B Scott would be better value than Libba and Trout and its dissapoints me we dont show more imagination with getting some new off field blood into the club.
I wonder if the days of running mates for coaches is outdated..Harvey/Sheedy, Pagan/Elshaugh...

They signed him for 3 years that does not mean the club cant change direction in its outlook and better development coaches cant be found in this huge continent called Australia....
