What I can't stand is to see Sylvia (the woman basher with plenty of tribunal appearances and bad record and probably carry over points) gets the same as Betts, 3 weeks, for deliberately going for the head and knocking out his opponent.

See something wrong with the penalties...maybe Betts is correct and sylvias is too lenient.

What did Wellingham get for Simmo? That'll do.

he had no choice, his feet had to leave the ground or he would have got him in the groin :smoking:

What did Wellingham get for Simmo?he should have gotten 36 weeks for his hit on simmo, it was that hit that led to the growth of simmo's form changing beard That'll do.

22% of a season as the penalty for a late shepherd.
Remember the Eagles/Pies NAB Cup game Nick Maxwell's bump on Patrick McGinnity and his broken jaw. Maxwell Cleared on appeal after five minutes.
Reckon the Drug cheats at Tullamarine won't even get a week.

A 5 week penalty seems over the top, reduced to 3. Kosi got 2 for elbowing a player in the head as was going past.
Oh well, what can you do?

To be fair Kosi broke his elbow in four places and has cracked ribs as a result of contact.

Both of his lungs were punctured, he broke his jaw and all of his ribs. He ruptured his spleen...

Patrick Ryder got 3 weeks and wasnt included straight back into the team after serving his 3 weeks.
We will be begging our players to return after being rubbed off.

Eddie broke his own jaw trying to tackle the bloke.

So it all comes down to collateral damage ....

Had the jaw not been broken ...... 0 or 1 week
Broken jaw same hit but feet on ground ..... 0 weeks ???

Sniper attack off the ball ...2 weeks
Sniper attack off the ball avec broken jaw ..... 10 weeks ??

Can continue with the permutations but my fingers are coming off the keyboard rather than staying on it

That's probably why he got 5 weeks reduced to 3

Just putting it out there.....but

In the vision of Wright getting up and being assisted by the trainers and checking his jaw......

I don't believe I saw him remove a mouth guard.

Make of that what you will but my dentist reckons you're crazy to play any contact sport without one.

This is the one.

I think Betts suspension is fair enough, but it amazes me how they see a difference between Betts and Thomas earlier in the season.
