Errr why? It's healthy discussion.
Seems the mods are too eager these days to delete a thread that is full of healthy discussion.

It sure beats some of the tripe that Fevolution is posting over in the recruitment section.

The discussion isn't healthy when they start playing the man though... come on guys...

Synbad - stuff like

Quote:
Bit rich to have logic coming out of you....

"We knew Karl played his last game against Collingwood ... blah blah blah"

isn't really necessary... come on, as Mrs Caz always says, play the ball, not the man!

Thats not playing the man... thats just pointing out his logic process....
I dont think i was over the top when he used some information he had.. (which was not entirely accurate- some was).. to shoot me down questioning my motives......

I think people are going OTT..

I dont mind being criticised.... and half the time im having fun...

But when this bloke comes out after an 'on the record' talk by a Carlton official and uses it to cast bullshit over a) my views// b) stuff that the club does and did have a genuine concern over.... ill be damned if i dont just put the bloke back in his box....

Just like he was thinking he would do to me....

Especially when he starts these threads with "Dont have a go at me im only repeating what i heard and im not having a go at anyone..."

Thats just piss weak form!!!!!

Hes better off coming out and saying Synbad according to what i heard today you talk shit!!!!

I cant stand guys that try to seek immunity from 'putting themselves out there'.. but are doing so to 'kick a head....'

Just sheer gutlessness...!!!!

It's been reported in the media that Nathan Burke has quit as an assistant coach at St.Kilda. Was reported in the Herald Sun that there was some speculation that he had a falling out with Grant Thomas. Nothing more than speculation at the moment, though.

Now, if we have brains whatsoever, Burke should be the man we are adding to the coaching staff.

Would the club consider adding Burke to the coaching staff?

Could help out our in and under on ballers (Blackers, AB, Jesse D) and teach them a lot.

Why would we have 4 midfield coaches PJ?
We already have Elshaug , Mitchell and Libba... all midfielders and astute coaches ......

We really dont need a fourth midfield coach....

If we had of turfed them out we might be able to bring in an Ashcroft or a Burke.. or what have you.....

But in our wisdom we decided we have the right mix of coaches...

Agree with that. Prefer a recently retired player to come on board and Nathan Burke fits that description as well as a bit of experience as an assistant.

Then we can use Burke to help lure Goddard across next year when he is out of contract.....

But you did get all excited coming in with some news didnt you???

Listen mate!!!... i didnt sit here calling you a liar.... when you came in with some obvious sugar coat....
You had the audacity to question my motives...
and on and on and on....

Synbad do you have to be so belligerent all the time. OR never seems to play the man and has contributed some good posts, particlularly his informative one about coterie group chat with insider. You're not the only person that has opinions and expresses them, do you have to bite at the most minor barely visible provocation.

It seems only 3000 posts ago that you said you were not going to spend much time on the net and weren't going to post anymore...what did happen to that undertaking

Anyway, I guess that means we'll be bringing in a ruck coach and either a forward coach or a defence coach (here's hoping it's Deano).

Yes but that was 3000 posts ago...

Why do you take so much interest in what i did 3000 posts ago???

Nah.. ill bite when someone calls me a liar!!!.. call em a liar and youll see for yourself...

I havent had a go at you yet have i????

If someones opinion is i have an agenda and lie to prove it.. ill have a go at them .. same as if someone said to my face....

I dont think theres a problem with that because someone said it to me over the internet and not to my face....do you ???

Thats what i believe OR did!!!.... not only that but he said "Just repeating what i heard and not having a go at anyone so dont have a go at me ok?"

I really dont know what your take is on something that you can skip over if you find it cringe worthy.... :?

Anyway ill leave RO alone... because i think i made my point to him.. but im sure he doesnt need you...hes a big boy and smart enough to look after his own affairs.

(I know youre older....).. but still....

Fair call Synbad, I'm sure OR is big enough to look after himself and you haven't had a go at me, I just hate reading through loads of bickering to get to the good stuff. Sometimes it's good for the site to let things go through to the keeper

BV here lies the problem. Having Fev as a "the face of the club" (TFoTC) is scary. Do the kids like him - you betcha. What do the corporates think? Well they most probably think that we're truly a rabble having a F*** nuckle as TFoTC. What do they see? They see a potentially talented footballer who can win games off his own boot and they see a footballer throwing dummy spits, a footballer criticising his teammates on field, a footballer with extremely bad body language...........and he's signing and nomination as TFoTC has done him no favours it has got to his head.........bad decision.

In fact Fev should consider himself extremely fortunate to not have followed the popstars (LA, Croad, Karl?) out the door. Fancy holding us to ransom on the back of 1 good year (2 good half years).

The alternative?........who knows perhaps we do not have one. So we'll have to continue with the bullshit that TFoTC puts out on the field, in the media and on Eddies show.

But see Rod Wadell this is where you bring yourself unstuck.. cos he didnt hold us to ransom... in fact he has signed TWO times for less than he could have got elsewhere...

So how you can say "he held us to ransom is beyond me"

Chief.. im going to ignore needling today.. am i good????? :-D
