Why?

because change only comes when you reach a threshold point where not changing is more painful than not changing.

Losing to Port and GC last year was that point, we're so far beyond the point now we can't even see the point.

My wish tip is Port by 13. Hope its around 50pt loss to the blues, but those F&^%n final Q fightbacks have a habit of masking things ..

Go port

I reckon that Malthouse will be canny enough not to be seduced by the fightback. You'd also hope that the game against the Saints will provide enough impetus to make some hard calls on players. Hoping that Port win is simply hoping for a repeat of last night.

FMD, its clear that both Lucas and Simmo are shot, you may as well reduce the quantity of shiat by a factor of one -drop Lucas and have the wanna be ned kelly take his place on a wing at least the facial hair implies as though the body of the person wearing it is capable of tackling, at the very least it may have a sub conscious impact on the opposition

Kill them!

Ducking kill them!

Probably will come in and tell everyone that were going to take them seriously and not lightly..... They have been very good this year so Marc Murphy will talk about respecting them.

If Jamo doesn't come up then give Watson a run.
If Betts gets rubbed out then either Buckley or Menzel.

I think this is close to the mark, it what I'd go with anyways if I were on the MC.

Despite the fact I'd love to make a few forced changes, there's no need to unsettle the side too much as we adapt to the new game plan (although last night suspiciously looked like the old plan).

3 rucks is dead and gone. I hope.
You could justify swapping Hampson for Kruezer in the omissions, he clearly wasn't ready last night.

I hope to God that Levi comes on. Would much rather play one ruck (Warnock) and use Levi as his chop out and have some extra runners around the ground. Maybe Kruezer as a forward relief if he adapts to the role a bit better. Waite, Bolt and Levi is still a tad too tall for my liking up forward.

Great return from hampson also, 2-5 for
the year. Henderson kicked 3 in a half that's
more than hampson has kicked in 6 games!!

They will know to flood back hard and makes sure they always have numbers behind the ball to stop Garlett having any space. They will wear our punches then get us on the counter.

yep, lol

I'll spew if Waite is allowed to come straight in this week.
The message being to him is weak. I don't even care if we lose to port as long as the cancer is in check.

And he is a cancer in the leadership group spreading wrong signature on commitment and dedication to the others.

agreed, your selections send messages about what you value. if process is king then f%%^ the result, being a leader he should impose a penalty on himself and remove himself for another week.

If you play Waite in the 2s he might get the shits and start an anti-Mick faction

They beat us last year so although we are 'expected' to win it means nothing to me anymore.

We won't be predictable that is for sure. 4 of our forward line last night will be replaced via injury or form. 2 of 3 helpers out.

Gibbs isn't due back until GWS, Murphy potentially out with a 'sore' foot, Ellard out. Jamo struggling with his shoulder.

I am actually tipping we might lose this one as well.

It's the Adelaide syndrome from 2012. I hope we win so I do go into a deeper football depression :-)

Outs - Betts (susp), Yarran (inj), Ellard (inj), Hammer, Curnow, Simmo

Ins - Carrots, Gibbs, Waite, Bell, Buckley, Casboult

Tuohy, Jamo, White
Walker, Kreuzer, Gibbs
Lucas, Carrazzo, Scotland
Armfield, Hendo, Garlett
Robbo, Waite, Buckley

R - Warnock, Judd, Murphy

Inter - Casboult, McLean, Bell, Cachia (Sub)

Sure 6 changes, but 3 compulsory.

Kreuzer to CHB, why not? Looked OK there in the 2nd half and if he has the mobility to be a ruck rover, why not CHB? Could be the making of the guy, our Ben Rutten..

Casboult roving fwd, sharing ruck with Warnock.

Simmo's been average for too long, MC must make a statement. Lucas hangs on, has a few more credits in 2013 than Simmo.

Good, i hope Murphy is rested so he can recover from whatever it is that he should rcover from , Gibbs and Yarren stay out this week so they to can recover, Eddie is suspended, Hope Waite suspends himself, Hope Jamo's get a month to rest his shoulder, and hope Kruiz gets a few more weeks to nurse his finger, spewing ellard did his hammy but pleased they will rest him for a month or so.. That should test us again... love these challenges
