This will go down worse than Melbournes loss to Gold Coast in my eyes. We have no passion when the heat is on. Bunch of front runners. No leadership at all. What's our super coach gonna do now?

Jamsion, Yarran, Kruezer, Hampson should not have played.

Watson, Buckley, Casboult, Bell would have given us lots more.

Jamison?

He's been sore for ages. I wanted him rested last week.

Thanks Waite.

Imagine the gap if we were playing like this against a decent team....

Seriously -I hope MM has a permanent marker out based on this effort so far... A massive readjustment needed.. Otherwise it's over-they are making dumb decisions all over the ground and not willing to work hard enough.... C'mon boys this is ordinary

Highly doubt Carazzo will be back next, sprung coming out of clinic after a scan this morning and said he was playing tonight....

Not that I think it would matter having him in but I hope Waite is feeling it sitting out there in the stands.

A mob of weak, cringing puppydogs. I can't remember being so ashamed of a Carlton (lack of) effort. Just how mentally weak is this mob? The lack of running is an absolute disgrace, talk about loose men everywhere. I don't care how many injuries there is, that doesn't excuse the mental weakness, the lack of effort, the lack of intensity.

May we never see three ruckman in the side again. Why was Yarran played? Why was Kruezer played? Playing unfit players rarely works. And that rocket scientist Waite, who may have given us some intensity and a target up forward is rubbed out after one game! To think I nearly went to this game, I may well have strangled some smug Sainter supporter by now. Christ I'm not getting any younger, I really doubt if I'll live to see another Carlton flag.

Okay boys, I'm trying to calm down, a half to redeem yourselves and an honourable loss won't cut it. Show me how wrong I am, COME OUT AND WIN THIS GAME!

Lucas can be the difference if he can toughen up and get loose.

Yep.We may as well use his only asset and have him take out a player every
few weeks. He offers nothing else. I cannot fault his courage and hardness but
he really is a dumb footballer.

A general lack of class and toughness are our major weaknesses. Any thing in the Bullies?

Juddy looks cooked and Murph cannot take the next step as a leader as yet.

Minimise the damage and move on.

Pick one ruckman cazbolt and Waite for rest of year

Two ruckmen, Casboult and Waite. This bombing it in like we do can work, but it requires three tall forwards.

Stop bombing it in, play one ruck, one second ruck/tall forward and one tall forward. Forwardline works with best with 2 talls, 2 of Betts/Garlett/Yarran, 1 medium forward and a rotating mid

This set up has never worked for us either.

Three talls up forward has worked for the last three premiership teams though.

You guys have hit the turps a bit for a Monday night!

We can win this. Need to do the following:
1. Play defensive side of stoppages better
2. One tall, Walker and smalls in the forward line
3. NO MORE BOMBS
4. Slow the game down as much as possible to keep the legs in the team for as much of the game as we can.
5. Extra man OR two in defence to clog the back 50.

Then it all comes down to execution, lowering the eyes and controlling the tempo.

Win.
