I went through the predictor today and had us 4th somehow.

The interesting part of the ladder was 6-10 all had 12-13 wins.

I think we'll finish 5th - 8th but make it all the way to the Prelim (and probably lose)

Look out 2014!!!

I've got us finishing 7th, just ahead of Richmond and Norf.

Not questioning what you're saying...but I find that stuff so lame. At 1-5, they'd want to be.

You're going to watch it though.
They do it for ratings.

I think we'd all watch every blues game no matter what day it is.

Agree, it is a bit lame. But when you look at their record against us, and our bad habits and weaknesses that still exist, it's no wonder they'd feel confident about tonight.

I just want a W tonight, no matter how ugly. Games like tonight against bogey, mid-range teams, are the ones that define us IMO.

We were never going to play 3 rucks.

Do we think we fooled St Kilda?

Kruezer has more ability in his little finger in every position on the field than Rowe...

I'll spell it out.. Rowe is a great bloke, but he's no ruckman, he's no forward, he's just fortunate to be on an AFL list...

Yet I can't remember any complaints when we played Warnock, Hampson and Rowe in the same team :banghead:

Your problem is understanding how the draft works and thinking you know better than the club and its recruitment strategy.

Your post reflects that more than our ruck strategy.

Who would you prefer to play the tall forward role between Kruezer & Rowe?

Simple question... Mick's made his choice... how about you?

Exactly, better a much better footballer doesn't necessarily make you better in certain positions.

Im not as optimistic.
Do many think we are top four worthy?
Hopefully next year with some established key forwards

Rounds 11-15 will decide if we're top 4, 5-8 or even miss the 8.

It's not a given tonight, the Saints will know they can win if they take us hard at the contest, I'm not confident, hopefully Malthouse has instilled a new mindset.

Casboult coming in would be a big plus for mine, he will pummel the Saints backline in the contest. Might break a few of them and set the tone for us

Who says they're definite walk up starts?

What if Hampson kicks a bag tomorrow night?
Nothing wrong with Gibbs coming back through the 2s after a few off with a soft tissue injury.

No-one in the side should be a walk up start.

I don't care if Hampson kicks 6 no way he's playing ahead of Waite as you know he'll be lucky to kick one the next week. That's how you lose games.

Having kicked 2.2 for the entire season i'm not sure Hammer's going to be turning it around in a hurry, up forward at least.

Waite's a walk up start.

Hope so. He's starting to put fear into defenders now and he should use that to the maximum.

Perceived death goes a long way for a defender to fumble the mark.

We simply must beat middle of the road and crappy bottom teams like St Kilda who think that they are in with a chance to beat us simply by setting themselves and getting physical with us.

We must simply start to create an aura about ourselves to these shitty teams that they have already lost to us before they even play us.

We must kill them!!!

KILL THEM!!!!!

I don't like us having Kruze, Warnock and Hampson in the one team. Ratts tried it last year with disastrous results.

Surely you see the double standards in calling Waite and Gibbs "automatic inclusions", yet they're among the first players to be accused of not caring/playing like millionaires/etc? Or wondering why other teams cover loss of better players than we do?
