Last chance Mr Ellard.

Tad harsh Wave. Coming back from injury.
Reckon we're a better side with him in. Has limitations but gives 100% and important goal kicker.
Certainly has a place.

Surely it's a confidence boost, and a message that they are close and on the right track.

I'd go with someone like a Robbo as sub just to give his body a bit of a rest - Ellard needs a full game to prove himself I think.

I like this idea in principle.

Fair enough, but I reckon Robbo will set the standard early, so maybe you could sub him off, rather than subbing him on.
Given the lack of Dees to tag, perhaps Curnow as sub?

Armfield on Byrnes

Walker on Howe

If Byrnes is top 3 to man up on, they really are seriously crap

Never said he was top 3?

It's just my suggestion that Armfield go to a back pocket and play in him as I believe he is the best person for that job.

Although Armfield playing a defensove HF role on Grimes may be possible! :yikes:

Considering it has been our pace which has troubled teams this year, it's staggering that the dees have dropped Davey & Blease, probably their quickest players. Then add the fact that they're missing Jamar, Clark, Dawes & Watts as key position players and it just looks like they're left with a bunch of middle tier, mid paced, mid sized, limited skilled, honest tryers.

It's because their banking on losing the clearances and being killed generally, this way they can be killed not quite as bad.

Their side lookalike Carlton on 2005 without the top end talent of Fev, Campo, Kouta and Lappin.

In conclusion losing would be worse than losing to GC last year.

I've got a feeling the Dees's might be tanking.

you can't be serious, after Robbos "bruise free football" comment he would lose it if MM started him as a Sub.

Yes we should win and win well, however it's more about the processes, such as can we clear the ball quickly and effectively after they kick a behind, also can we create space for our tall forwards to take a mark and kick goals. We can't continue to rely on The 3 amigos.

Good week to continue to work out some of our weaknesses.

AFL_PKeane: Carlton's Andrew Carazzo has withdrawn from tomorrow's match v Melbourne and been replaced by Jaryd Cachia. Jeremy Laidler now an emergency.

Great news for Cachia. I get much delight from seeing new dudes in the team.
