Love seeing scores against that low.

Playing a more dynamic backline full with plenty of midfielder types makes us look better.

Garlett BOG Yaz second BOG.

Bruce went orgasmic last year when Jetta ran his 90 metre goal up at ANZ stadium, Yarran did it 3 time tonight, apart from Taylor and Darcy looking likes they sucked a bagful of lemons - got flower all love.

Great the way we killed the first 10 mins of the last. Paniced in possession a bit when we could of held on but we made it real hard for the eagles to score with our tackling.

A real step forward. Winning ugly with great team effort. Defensive work was fantastic and we will keep improving.

Betts, Kruezer, Ellard, Waite to still come back.

Been saying it all along.

Warnock >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hampson

And good to see we have a coach not a supporter in charge ....

Pros:
Obviously great to get a win. But particularly great to get a win on the back of a terrific defensive performance. Nice to finally see some MM trademarks, like the shepherding.
Another terrific effort from Tuohy, Hendo and Jamo and Walker.
Great to see Yarran step up and win a game for us. Obviously one of our most talented players on the list.
Garlett and Robbo were real impact players.
Another good effort from Brock.
Rowe was an effective target. Be nice for him to kick 3-4 and really get some confidence with his goalkicking.
Thought Gibbs was really important in 1st half.
Armfield was good. In fact a real team effort.

Cons:
Not sure why we'd play Joseph again as sub.
Curnow did a good job on Gaff, but doesn't seem to want the ball in his hands.
A little flattered by some horrible misses from West Coast.

Am I the only one around here who thought Kade Simpson had a good game?

Terrific win. Most pleasing is that the boys were challenged and able to withstand it by kicking a steadying goal when needed. As others have mentioned, kudos to Jeffy and Yaz, liked the games of Rowe, Robbo, Curnow and Lucas and thought Hendo and Jamo were terrific. I also thought Warnock was strong at the contest. The only player who seems a shadow of himself is Simo. Some very soft efforts and ineffective ball use.

See what happens when you man up and impose constant pressure? Much better tonite. Warnock was v good, cox was largely useless. Kennedy and darling did next to nothing. Rowe provides a contest at worst. Could di with some kicking practice. Yaz and jeffy, electric when needed. Can we get four quarters of that though? Anyway a good team effort tonite and thank god the duck is broken!
