This team does not look overly quick. Wonder what the weather forecast is.

Joseph.

please explain. Oh...that's right.....we need him to play on the small forwards.

Well, remember he is versatile too..

:garthp:

And there's so many better options on the list in this regard? The best of a shit bunch.

You really think so ? If that's the case then we're screwed worse than I thought. Surely Bell, or another game into Buckley is a better option than AJ. Bell was average against the Pies and made some clangers but no more than AJ does every time he gets a game, and Bell has shown more in his short career than AJ has for ages.

In what universe does AJ fill the same role as either Bell or Buckley.

Might as well get Fev to play fullback.

8 first round picks in this side and if Kruezer was fit it would be 9. It is irrelevant whether a player was selected at #1, 72 or as a rookie.......

Bit concerning that Rowe is the only player from the last 3 drafts in the side and you can only add Lucas if you go back 4 drafts.

Don't care. AJ is not capable of playing any role at Carlton full stop. Rather go with another "type" than have to endure AJ's turnovers/errors yet again.

My concern is LeCras. We don't seem to have a matchup for him?
I felt Laidler would be the perfect match up for him and he could have also tested the arm out.

Not about match-ups; it's about the process.

Whilst Recruiting can be questioned in some areas the Development of our players has been a bigger issue.

He doesn't have the legs to go with Gaff. I wonder if our brains trust knows that Gaff has had a tag this year? He is the best runner in the AFL.
