Id like to see a game without weak links like Bootsma, Joseph and Davies doing damage to us in the backline.

We need to exploit their slow back line. They are tall and are good at defending the long kick. We need to run it through CHF not bomb it forward from the wing.

Their midfield is average but Kerr makes a big difference. Cox is still a beast in the Ruck. We need to shut down their outside runners. Give Simmo the job on Gaff.

Their forwards can be dangerous. JK and Darling are in good form. Le Cras is good, the others the type of spuds that usually cut us up...

Then there is the different rules at Subi than the rest of Australia.

Just hoping we put in 4 quarter effort and to see some sign that the new game plan will work.

Caught a bit of Teague on 6PR tonight.

While diplomatic acknowledged our defence is weak and they plan on exploiting it. Plan is to give JK, Darling etc enough supply to inflict damage.

I actually think Teague has it wrong. I'm more than comfortable with Jamo and Hendo taking these two.

It's Hill, Le Cras and other stalls that will kill us.

Maybe he is bluffing?

His statement was more along the lines of their midfield giving all their forwards enough supply. Their conversation rate is quite high even with the low entries in the first 2 roads.

I hope Judd handballs to Army who sidesteps Josh to kick the sealer.

That would be great.

Really great.

Still have a soft spot for Josh and would like him back at Carlton.

Wasn't this an Abbot and Costello sketch?

I don't think one sided umpiring will effect us as much this week. After the first 3 rounds we should be getting used to it.

..LeCras will do damage, but not as a fwd.. ..he's playing up field now, and is argueably their best midfielder.. ..and as good a fwd he is, he's better on the ball.. ..seriously good player.. ...as others have said, we need to stifle their outside run.. ..if we let them run the ball in space at subi, J/K and Darling will have a field day..

..also who-ever rucks needs to shadow Cox everywhere, don't let him be part of any link-up possession chains and make sure he's no target up fwd..
