Hot for an AFL club exec but average as a talking model.

She actually seemed like she was highly competent. She certainly played CFC.

Not sure how you can become a spokeperson and judge what someone else wants in there life.

In one sentence you say she is average and the next you say she is competent.

I must be missing something.

I'm sure CFC knew she wasn't there long term a la Coutts

You probably owe her an apology. Ex-athlete, two degrees in journalism and previous experience in a communications role with a government department and a non-profit....yet you've completely missed that and focused on her good looks. Similarly Rebecca Judd who has a degree in Speech and Language Pathology and has worked in that field, often combining work at the Alfred with modeling commitments. Gets overlooked.

She hasn't played anyone. She got a job combining sport and communications - a job she's more than qualified to do. This is a football club. No one lasts forever except the supporters. Aside from that - it's the workforce. You should always use the position you're in to position yourself for the position you want. Surely no one can begrudge anyone of that.

Good luck to her, she's obviously a high achiever. I don't care at all about her, but disappointed that an area of weakness that had seemingly been rectified is affected by careerism. Good for her, not good for Carlton. Hopefully she's left some sort of positive legacy during her little stopover.

My reference to her looks related to the new gig as TV celebrity. I'm not interested in celebrities and all that noise hence the "lame dream" call. Working and succeeding at Carlton indefinitely is a far more worthy ambition

She's not the manager of the Comms dept though - someone else comes in who's had some media management experience, preferably understands the landscape and picks up where Michelle left off. Can't see why the Comms Department is affected aside from they're losing a colleague.

So reading between the lines here we want Ian Coutts back in Michelle's wardrobe?

This is a terrible thread. Just awful.
