Of course he was better two years ago than he is today. He's at the end now. When he was at his peak, ie from game 150 onwards, he was the best in the business. It's not exactly a difficult concept.

Buckley, Voss and even Hird all moved inside as they got older and slower but stronger with more bulk. They played years ago too when there was a load more space on a football field.
