I think you're being a tad harsh on the big fella BKB.
If Kreuzer and Hampson were injured as they have been in times of need in 2011 and 2012 Warnock was our saviour in the ruck...nearly got us into a prelim in 2011.
I don't think he did badly at all on Saturday night. In fact I was pleased with all 3 ruckmen on Saturday night. IMO they all did better that Jacobs. Its just that Hammer and Krooze stood out more than Warnock because they did more than him.
So glad we have 3 quality ruckmen. They are all quality, and we're lucky to have them on our list.
..a bit harsh sure, but deservedly so i reckon.. ..lookit, in 2011 early on he was traveling nicely [not amazingly mind, but nicely], and then he got injured for a large'ish chunk of the middle season.. ..and it's debateable that his best games [finals of that season] were as good as krooz's 2nd game back vs swans in that year.. ..he did well vs the wce ruck combo out west, but they weren't 100%, but i will say that he does play his best footy in finals.. ..last season though he wasn't much chop at all, lets be honest.. ..injury riddled for the majority of the year, which is far more common than him being injury free..
..my knocks on him, are that for all his talked up height, tapwork and athleticisdm, he doesn't dominate nearly enough ruck contests, and since he's very much a tap ruckman and so far little more [aside from the odd glimpse], it's one trick isn't nearly good enough..
