I think Brisbane will be a good side and really push for a spot in the eight especially given their draw.

FWIW IMO the game should of been played in Queensland. They earned the right.

I'm disappointed. The less games we play on Etihad's surface the better. Knees and other joints.

The tests they use to measure the hardness of turf are %^$#*&@

Can only be good for membership sales.

The look on the face of my 8yo when I told him Carlton were in a GF was priceless. That reaction repeated thousands of times over must make it somewhat a worthwhile exercise.

Happy we're there but wish it was at the G and not on that tarmac at Etihad

Out: Joseph, Curnow, Warnock, Tuohy ?
In: Judd, Bell, Levi, Gibbs

Not sure how much right there is in what amounts to a 3 week lottery draw. The right is when you earn a home final after a hard 22 week season.

They were the ONLY undefeated side. Previous years has dictated that the highest qualifying side gets a home final.

No, its not the real season but I still believe it's wrong.

Not quite...Carlton were scoreless in the first and last quarters.

Ah, those where the days... when there were only 2 or 3 really good teams and we were one of them

I miss 80's football.

Be nice to see but unlikely after only having 1/2 a game under him.

Guys like Bootsma, Watson, Buckley may be given a run under a bit more of a pressure game to show their worth.

Got a feeling we'll rest a few this week...

...and the game should've been in Qld... they earned the right

If we are fair dinkum we should win by at least our average winning margin against the Lions in Melbourne for the past 3 seasons.

They haven't bridged the gap that much in one off-season.

Collingwood tanked last night - pure and simple
They want to keep their powder dry for Rd 2, and I don't blame them
Play the kids next week, I won't be in the slightest bit bothered if we lose
Bring on the Tgers!!!

Simpson and Murphy should be rested.
They don't seem that interested in the pre-season comp, give Bell and Bootsma a run.

I dont reckon we'll rest that many. If you look back over the NAB Cup and Internals, its only been 2 or 3 senior ie. top 25 players that havent played

Murphy was rested from both internals.
Judd has yet to play a game but Judd says he'll play this week.
Gibbs had the week off
Kreuzer had the first 2 internals and nab cup r1 off
henderson missed both internals
jamison had the first internal off
Hampson had last week off
Curnow had last week off
Casboult had this week off.
Rowe had his first week off, and played 2nds.

Oh and

Warnock has been selected every week, but didnt play nab r1
Brock was selected every week, but didnt play nab r2

With an extended NAB bench I expect the lineup to remain mostly unchanged, drop a ruckman for casboult, dale dropped to the seconds along with probably Joseph.

Not necessarily.

Even decent sides can have off nights.

Now for those that don't really care if we win or not, just think of the satisfaction filth supporters would get with us losing.

No, but it is certainly wrong to have said 'to of'... :donk:

Peoples spelling and grammer is better then that, anymore.

People's Tori Spelling and Kelsey Grammer is better sound than Evermore.
