Just realised that they had scored 110 by 3 quarter time!

Also loved the game of Armfield.
Liked Lucas and Laidler.

Bar a Collingwood Brisbane draw thanks to the cats over the kangas we are in the NAB Cup Grand Final.

Go Blues!

Pleasing part of this was holding the crows scoreless in the last quarter

Liked that our midfielders got on the scoreboard. Saw a lot of that at Collingwood under Malthouse.
Didn't like that our forwards failed to contribute much score. We rarely win without Betts kicking a few.

Didn't they score 109 for the game?

Yes they did. Foxtel credited Adelaide with a behind that was kicked after the siren at 3/4 time but it didnt count. It only got changed during the last quarter.
So, unless Brisbane and Collingwood play a draw we are in the GF. Is that right?
Bit worried, last time we were in the pre season GF we got the wooden spoon.

Will be against the pies at the G.

Last time two big Victorian teams made it through to pre season grand final was in 1993 if I remember correctly, bombers v tigers at waverly. They had said that there were around 75,000 people there (the maximum allowed due to ohs standards) when in actual fact the crowd was close to 95,000!!

Remember that.

Also Carlton v Geelong pulled almost 75,000 at the 'G in 1997.

Given that they only wrapped up the Shield match, today, doubt you'd play a Mickey Mouse match on a hard wicket for no reason.

Guessing it will be at Carrara now?

Where else could you fit in all those supporters if it had of been Carlton v Collingwood?

An extra 30,000 supporters would equal a lot of extra $$$$ and we all know the AFL's stance on revenue......

The same place they go when we play Hawthorn at Etihad every year, or when Hawthorn play Essendon* there...
