I'm sure a few years in their "system" he is sure to bulk up quite significantly.

Looks like MM is going to have a look at the 3 ruckman/forward setup. Excellent.

Really? Supporters still think like this? Patrick Dangerfield is one of my favorite players to watch...in fact the Crows have a few in my top half dozen....Sammy Jacobs and Rory Sloane would be the others.

Good attitude Doc.
But Stone Free you're allowed to hate 'em.

Ooh, turns out I'm not too crash-hot at this jiggery.

Heath Scotland: 2012 B & F, and a MM favourite...and hasn't had a hit out yet...and its been announced that he and Judd are available...and he's been selected.

Have a guess where I'm coming from? I reckon he's a good chance of playing.
Heard any different?

THis is Mick's chance to see how to manage 3 players over 200cm, albeit mobile.

Will Kreuzer finally be the Ruck Rover when Waenock rucks and Hampson presents as the tall FF option?

I'm salivating at the thought .

There's no 4 points at risk and I reckon we have players in form, hungry for a spot for round ! with only 1 more NAB game to go before the real stuff begins.

Without particularly trying to win, we're still probably a pretty good chance of winning. And even if we lose, we're still a better than 50/50 chance of going through to the final. So I'd say its looking a lot more likely than not that we will play the pies in the final. I think we will play the winner of them and Brisbane. Although I couldn't really care less

..will be quite interesting to see how Knockers' goes as 1st ruck, more to see if he's fully over that knock to the knee, it was well bandaged last week and i can't ever remember him playing before with that much strapping.. ..with the new ruck rules, we'll be able to see if he's honestly fully over that 'niggle'.. ..also a good test for our KPDs, since now the crows' mulleted oaf will be getting plenty of I50s directed thru him..

..and Gibbs and Judd not playing thru the middle is a fair whack of talent/experience missing, which means our 2nd string mids will get a good go at it in the middle..

..good to see Buckley given a run too..

Good attitude Doc.
But Stone Free you're allowed to hate 'em.

After Dangerfield tore us a new one last year, I don't have any sympathy for this lot.

Not even in the hope some of his attack on the ball might rub off on our players?

Why should he be playing if he's not up to the level?

With Malthouse trying to bed down a game plan, he's far better off focusing on the short list of players likely to play H&A football rather than wasting a spot on a kid who isn't ready.

I agree with the comment above. Mitchell's focus right now should be on putting a string of games together at any level, and get some confidence as well. More likely to do that with the NB at the minute.

I thought he ( and McCarthy) showed good signs last year against the saints - should be playing NAB Cup.

I feel that Mick has told Luke to work on a couple aspects of his game (defensive side especially) before he warrants any chance of selection.

Mitchell also didn't quite impress this off-season in the manner he did last season.
Has his head in the right place even though he may not have liked the snack in the mouth, but it will ultimately do him good.

Not unhappy for Mitchell and McCarthy to be shelved for the best part of this year, while training them up for next year. The guys have just turned 21.
They're both quality players and quality individuals. They'll be fine.
