..have been saying the same thing, was moving so freely last night.. ..and is the sort to put opposition players on their arse.. ..his work rate and ball winning ability is right up there, is my first ruck every day of the week..

Yes....even leaving his ability and versatility aside; he is such a competitive player who doesn't give up.

Positives
good games from Levi and Lucas will be hard to keep them out of first game
Robbo Gibbs both close to bog
Another win at etihad about time we started to win our fair share there
strong appetitite for contest in nab cup by all team
waite mcclean hammer judd to come back
Big Knockers tap work

Kreuzers work at ground level

jamo hendo laids all back together in defence

various rotations in backline and forward lines

balmy night at etihad good spirit amongst carlton supporters

Cons
Freo performance hard to get read where blues are at - disappointed with freo commitment
Contested marking in forward line - still need to take more to be in top clubs in league

goal kicking still needs work

Kreuzer's ground level work has always been good even while he was struggling to overcome his knee injury and other niggles but it was his ruck and aerial work that really impressed me.

One thing I did notice about Mick Malthouse's coaching last night was whilst Raaten would have celebrated Eddie's goal withe a fist pump and a "Go Blues" - Mick merely glanced up from his clipboard to see what all the fuss was about and the went back to plotting his next move.

I loved Mick in the presser it was all about what was happening with the players learning the new systems. When somebody asked him a bout a stat and he did a quick shuffle through the papers he had in front of him and said "They're in here somewhere if you want them I'll dig them out for you later".

He took a bit of a veiled pot shot at KB too in the interview.

Malthouse was clearly keen on seeing different sides to his players, as key-position types Simon White and Lachie Henderson were used at both ends of the ground, Mitch Robinson roamed across the field and Eddie Betts began in the centre before going forward and kicking four goals.
"We probably used five or six in addition to the backline, we used probably 10 or 11 players through the back half and we probably did the same through the front half," the Blues coach said.

"Just the ability to absorb what's required at both ends of the ground and in particular around the middle."

Ratts said something last year or the year before about developing out players to be flexible and able to play at either end of the ground. It seems that development is going to be accelerated under Mick.

I'd rather see a full on broadside from an AK assault rifle rather than a veiled pot shot.

For the international members on TC, I was able to get AFLTV working on my iPhone but could not get it to work on the iPad or laptop.

Anyone got any suggestions/feedback if they were able to get AFLTV to work ?

Likewise in Beijing. Even with a vpn.

Im in Nanjing, have found its pretty difficult to stream live, but I have got it to work. Try turning the quality level down to low, its about the quality standard of the Australia channel via satellite, but its good enough to follow the game. If you cant get the live stream to work Ive found you can usually watch the replay via the site, the next day.

By the way, l loved Jamo's two monster torps from kick outs in the last quarter. Almost to the centre each time.

I had a laugh about that too just about the different approach compared to ratts, when he also said "it's got everything here except for what they had for dinner".

Then you're going to love Tuohy and Watson's.

Both of the guys can hit the centre square regularly if given license.
