Just logged on and have seen the sad news. I have tears in my eyes as I type. Jezza bought us all great joy and the memories through my youth are dear to me. Jezza I love you mate and I feel deeply for you and your family. Keep your chin up. I am so sorry for your loss!

I am absolutely staggered that there is no mention whatsoever of Anne's passing on the CFC Website.

It announces that the Club returns from the holiday break on Jan.7.....so; WTF is going on in our Club?

Today in the Herald Sun; there is a lovely tribute to Anne from Jim and Dylan Buckley and the whole Buckley family; and there's been many similar tributes that have been published every day.

I think it's disgraceful; and it wouldn't happen on a Collingwood Website if it was a Collingwood Legend's Wife...no way.

Warby there appears to be on the part of the family to keep Anne's passing very low key. The club placed a message in the paper so it might be case of Alex not wanting too much being said about it especially on our club website.

The Hun hasn't reported the death as far as I know either.
