I hope you notice how much the club's communication with the supporters has improved. Facebook, twitter, web casts, hangouts and now daily reports and video from Arizona. Well done - just what a blue believer needs in off season.

Agree, i am really enjoying the pictures and videos that the club is releasing almost daily.
They did something similar last year too.

Agree wholeheartedly. As an interstate member, I live off this interaction and it is very much appreciated.

For local members I'm sure they are still areas for improvement but the clubs use of social media and online tools has improved markedly in recent times.

The clubs coverage of this trip for the fans has been, in the words of Con Petropulos, "absolutely second to none"

The players have insisted that "Jumanji" will be the inflight movie on return.

Best afl team song EVER! Loved it when they sang it at the top of the mountain. Just imagine how good it will be when we sing it again after climbing the next mountain, our 17th premiership!

I could go all off season hearing nothing from the club provided they win games march to september
I'm not interested in what mountain they climbed and how fast they did it
I'm more interested in how many goals they kick and how many wins they have

I follow football to watch football not who has the best Mo climbing up some mountain

The coverage doesnt hurt anything though. Its nice for those like to see updates. Well done to the club on their improvement in this area.

Im much more interested in how they improve their communication when membership packages come out and there are issues with them arriving on time, people receiving wrong seats and the usual problems that come up.

If we adress these well and people are happy with our communication and membership departments then we can say we've made some real improvements.

Absolutely so.

We have to remember that the fan-base isn't completely made up of middle aged, cynical, grumpy old men.

Plenty of kids like to follow their heroes throughout the year and these sort of presentations are terrific in getting the boys closer to the fans.

Really good to hear that on both hikes players have listed Bootsma as the bloke leading the way.

Just hope he's building muscle not losing weight in the process.

Young lad deserves some praise.

Bootsma was the player that caused the CFC some grief for coming back overweight so he may just be the butt of some in-jokes from the boys.

Bell also came back with a bit of a tummy bubble, but that was largely because he couldn't train. Bootsma didn't have such an excuse.

Boots returned overweight? He was a rake and needed weight. Hopefully he turns it into muscle & doesn't return to initial weight.
