Shouldn't the title of this thread be that "fevola alleges Carlton tried not to win".
There is no admission when Fev admits there was no directive to the players.
Maybe the title should be "Fevola admits no directive to tank at Carlton" because that is all he can admit.

Hard to imagine him being welcome at Carlton......ever.....anywhere for that matter.....maybe school playgrounds, he is after all good with the kids

The title of this thread is WRONG.

To admit something is to allow something you would prefer to not concede.

Fev has volunteered information because he can't help himself. If he doesn't appear in the paper for three days in a row he panics.

And he has no evidence that what he is "admitting" is true. It's just a "vibe".

I think there are different types of tanking, and I don't believe you have to have dropped ladder positions to do so.

Basically though tanking = not wanting to win

Whether thats by playing players out of position, sending players in for operations or threatening staff with the sack if your team wins.

The Priority Pick system has encouraged teams to not want to win and its been staggering the AFL are only now investigating it.

WCE did it to grab Nic Nat and so on....so on is a damn good player.
