Got the club membership EMAIL tonight and have to say that the mailer we received asking us to update our details worked (sort of) - now I am getting club emails to my new email address and also to my old email address.

unfortunately AGRO, that is almost universal....every newsletter I've subscribed to and changed my email address has resulted in the old one continuing to come.

Almost 1000 now.

I'm still not getting the emails, despite speaking to the membership dept after renewing the other day.

Although, I hear that any members who sign up before 14 Novemnber (IIRC) should receive their membership packs before Christmas.

I AM Member for 2013 X4 after very easy renewal of our memberships at Visy this morning. The whole process including conformation of CC details took approx 5 minutes and I was told to expect the Membership packs before Xmas. So much better than my telephone renewals over the past decade or so and we will be in the same seats as last year. Bring on Season 2013 as we are Carlton.

Driving out of Northland shopping centre was a huge poster/sign of our membership campaign at the exit/entrance to the carpark.
Seems we are promoting our memberships in a different way this year, hope it works.
I pay my membership by direct debit each month so i just assume it will just roll over to next season as i havent received anything from the club as yet.

Good to see. The Hawks had a big sign hanging over the Monash a year or so ago, not sure if it's still there. We should do the same on Sydney Rd/Hume Hwy.

I rang the membership department today about upgrading from an 11 game membership to a home and away one. I was told the price and when i asked how many games would it be, 17 or 18, i was told either 16/17 games in Melbourne. The club has been given a draft of the fixture and from the sound of it we may have 6 interstate matches next year.

There will be a big spike on Nov 1st when the direct debit members will officially join up.

Maybe the club is hoping for some double dipping. Mrs C and I renewed in the first week, but we just got the "hey guys why don't you renew your membership for 2013" letter in the mail this week.

I foolishly thought it might have been an acknowledgement of our payment. :lol:

Just renewed our 2 x CC memberships at the Club, v straightforward even with a seating change at Jihad, so you can add 2 to the tally!
